Higher min wage drives up manufacturing wage which increases the labor cost advantage Mexico and China enjoy.

Would like to see evidence of this.

Manufacturing job wages appear to be keeping up with inflation, that's it.

I'm all for protectionism at this point.  We can't have free trade with countries that abuse workers and don't employ quality control standards on par with what is the norm in the US.  That's a lose for us on the jobs front and on the goods front.

Can't really do it as min wage has kept with inflation as well.  I'm talking about the proposed $15/hr wage hike, essentially doubling min wage.
