In a trade, which side is preferred?

Current Wentz owner has Jameis Winston and Rob Kelley, Perine owner does not have a QB at the moment (plenty available in the auction next week).

Same values and contract opportunities.

Normally in a start-1 Wentz would be fairly worthless, but in a 16-team league, even mediocre QBs see significant value bumps.

I voted Wentz, and fairly easily.

I think the answer is both.  Seems like from your brief description that the Perine owner needs a QB and the Wentz owner doesn't need Wentz.  The trade may be the right move for both sides of the equation.  My preference would likely depend on which side (QB needy or RB needy) of the trade I am on.

I believe Wentz to score more total points this year but that doesn't necessarily mean he is the right choice for my situation.

This is exactly what I think.

Perine has more upside but has a lot more risk.  Wentz is replaceable even in a 16 team league.

I do agree with Gally that the deal makes sense for both sides......team A gets a starting QB (albeit weak one), but Wentz does have top 10-12 upside.....team B now owns the WAS running game, and Perine should beat out Kelley at some point.
