Redraft: M. Jones & C. Hyde for A. Smith? (1 Viewer)

In my PPR redraft league, I made a mistake on draft day and picked two QBs with the same bye week (Andrew Luck & Carson Wentz). I decided to deal with it up front and draft a third QB while the value was there rather than deal with the wires in week 9, so I grabbed Alex Smith.

Another owner waited too long and got stuck with Trubisky as his QB1, so he decided to offer me Marvin Jones and Carlos Hyde for Alex Smith. If I accept, I'm back to my pre-draft concern about finding my eventual fill-in, but also now with the Eagles saying Wentz isn't expected to return for "several weeks" I'm not sure if this is a good idea. He's also the guy who had the first pick and is the Gurley owner, so giving him Alex Smith might be a bad idea from an overall opponent strength perspective.

Start: QB, 2RB, 2 WR, TE, 1 W/R/T Flex

Pre trade:

QB - Andrew Luck, Carson Wentz, Alex Smith

RB - Alvin Kamara, Alex Collins, James Conner, Matt Breida, Corey Clement

WR - Tyreek Hill, Juju Smith-Schuster, Cooper Kupp, Kenny Stills

TE - Rob Gronkowski

Current waiver QBs: Andy Dalton, Jameis Winston, Blake Bortles, Derek Carr, Tyrod Taylor, Joe Flacco

Thoughts?

You PROBABLY don't even need the trade. Both Jones and Hyde would just be insurance/backups. I'm not real big on Smith this year because I don't think the Washington offense will be all that great. Could be wrong though. I'll reiterate what I said in another thread, I think Andy Dalton is a good play because his early schedule is good.  Feel free to pull the trigger and add more depth and upgrades over Stills/Clement.
