This season I've noticed that a lot of the e-reports CBS Sportsline sends out consists of:
News: Steelers RB Dan Kreider, WR Cedrick Wilson and TE Matt Spaeth didn't record statistics Week 9 against the Ravens.
Analysis: These players don't have roles that allow them to accumulate meaningful statistics. Keep them on waivers for Week 10 against the Browns.
News: Ravens WR Demetrius Williams didn't record a reception Week 9 at Pittsburgh.
Analysis: Williams has only 19 catches for 285 yards this season, making him an inadvisable Fantasy play for Week 10 against the Bengals. Cut him if you own him or keep him on waivers if you don't.
News: Ravens K Rhys Lloyd, RB Justin Green, DL/TE Lee Vickers and WR Devard Darling didn't record statistics Week 9 at Pittsburgh.
Analysis: These players don't have roles that enable them to record meaningful statistics. Keep all on waivers for Week 10 against the Bengals.
Over and over again for meaningless players. Do they actually pay someone to come up with this stuff? I can write this stuff in advance for the rest of the season. "The Ravens #4 QB and #7 WR did not play this week. Keep them on the waiver wire next week."
Somebody send them a copy of FBG and show them how it's done.
