Been in CBS Sportsline money league for 10+ years(too lazy to move to another site don't send hate comments)

Very few trades ever take place. But, I did a trade with another owner today. I don't intend to use the players I acquired this week in this trade. However, I'm trying to swing another trade Gronkowski for Forte and will use Forte this week.

A different owner is complaining that any trades are not good for this week because it's after Thursday's game start already.

That's clearly the rule for add/drop FA's, but not trades. There's no restriction on their system for trades.

Should a player traded today be allowed to start this week? I say YES, what does FBG's say?

see bold. if there's nothing in the league by-laws detailing Thursday games vs. trades on Friday/Saturday then i say "yes".

The site won't let trades though after the games start, but our commish puts them through manually.

I've been on sportsline for over 10 years, and we can add/drop after the Thursday games as long as it isn't a player who played on Thursday. Thursday players become locked once the game starts.

It's easy. I'm the co-commish in my league so I can tell you where it's at. Under league settings go to the bottom and you will see "Transaction Settings." Open that up and you see "Roster Management and Transactions." Look where it says Add/Drop Deadline, and you can choose "Five minutes before first game on Sunday." Any Thursday player that has played will be locked for drop/add once the game begins even if you didn't have them in your lineup. There is also a Trade Policy setting. We choose "Trades must be approved by Commish." A trade has never not been approved in our league. We also have a trade deadline set for 12-3-2012.
