Chad Jackson suffered a torn ACL in the AFC Championship game. Won't be seeing him for quite a while...

*Can you tear an ACL on the sideline?
*Tough news for Jackson. The last thing he needs is an injury that hurts his development (because he needs a lot of development). Definetly very bad news for both him and the team.
*It will be interesting to see how this effects the Pats WR plans. They're obviously thin to begin with and while Jax was MIA in 06 he definetly figured into 2007. This team is close and I'd rather not use a high pick on a WR who may or may not help. Veteran help is the way to help this unit.
*The secrecy with which the Pats operate in continues to amaze. The Colt game was over a month ago and this is the first I have heard about this. Boston's a town where celebs/athletes can't sneeze without it being reported yet the Pats continue to pretty much control the flow of info in and out of Foxboro.

Jackson can actually catch the ball. Big difference.The Vikings could have drafted Merrimaqn and Vincent Jackson in stead of Williamson.
