Chad Johnson to Dolphins?

> Posted by Keven Lerner at 3:30:47 PM

Bill Parcells has never shied away from boisterous receivers in the past (Keyshawn Johnson, Terrell Owens), so the possibility of Miami native Chad Johnson joining the Dolphins doesn't seem so farfetched.

But Peter King's mention of this in his Monday Morning Quarterback column on SI.com certainly is wishful thinking.

"Chad Johnson, by the way, sounds like a man who wants out. Wouldn't be surprised -- nor would several of my NBC peers -- if Bill Parcells, who is not afraid of bigmouths, deals his first pick in the third round to Cincinnati for Johnson."

Personally, I can't see the Bengals giving up one of the league's best receivers for so little.

After watching the Dolphins' injury-decimated secondary get torched by Johnson for 131 yards and two touchdowns, Parcells probably had the flashy receiver at the top of his New Year's resolutions list.

If the media blows up a Chad-Carson sideline debate, what will a Chad-Cleo or Chad-Beck argument look like? I can't see this happening.

Why the heck would CJ want to leave Cincy with Carson and TJ (his friends) to go to a team that was just 1-15?

Not to nitpick, but I think the speculation came from Peter King, not from a Miami writer.

As a Dolphin fan, I'd love to see this, but I don't see it happening for many of the reasons mentioned above.

Hmmm. Keyshawn is interested in unretiring and reuniting with Parcells with the Miami Cowboys.

Johnson & Johnson

Cinco Ocho & Key

...now that would be interesting.

as usual, PK's fishing but tries to sell it as having heard it from league insiders. he should stick to writing about how Tom Brady is the 2nd coming of jesus christ.

Chad = Javon + 3rd pick
lolIf Chad has a hard time sharing catches with TJ just wait till he comes to denver and has to compete with Marshall, Stokley, Scheffler and more importantly the denver running game.Besides denver doesn't have a third round pick, and if they did I'd send it to St Louis for their FS who is a RFA.

Ocho Cinco & Key would be more interesting. But I don't think this will happen. Didn;t Parcells say he didn't want any problem child(ren) or something like that?
