Channing Crowder (1 Viewer)

He had 103 tackles last year and will get an increased role this season. Way too soon to give him the bust label.

I'd liken his situation to DJ Williams. Talented player that is stuck biding his time. Once Zach Thomas goes, Chowder should be huge. Just depends on how long you want to wait.

His first two years he's played at LB4-5 levels behind a guy who's an IDP stud in Thomas. He's certainly worthy of keeping on your team as a bye week/injury filler, and his future potential looks good. I'd keep him in all but the leagues with the smallest of rosters.

I let him walk this past offseason. I've been patiently biding my time with the guy but given some other offseason acquisitions I was able to make and the news of a hybrid 3-4 in Miami, I simply didn't feel comfortable holding a spot for him over guys like Dqwell Jackson, Rocky McIntosh, and Keiaho. I still think Crowder can be a success but after two years, it simply became a numbers game for me and I wasn't willing to wait.

I think DJ Williams has a lot more talent than Crowder.

I don't disagree. In fact, I don't think there are many LBs with more talent than DJ period. The guy was a beast at both DeLaSalle and Miami.

I guess he has yet to show that talent.
Big difference between talent and fantasy production. No way you could watch DJ Williams career so far and feel he's been a disappointing NFL player.

Agreed. Would you say Crowder has been a dissapointment?
