**Chargers at Titans**(+9, 43.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Bolts should roll them but at some point the Titans have got to catch one of the better teams napping
Cam Ward has a lot to learn, not sure he is proving himself worthy of the No 1 pick as a rookie this season

Chargers 27...Titans 17
Bolts cover

Chargers defense looks different with Mack healthy
Justin has more time with Alt healthy
Chargers just a whole lot better right now
Late home team score makes it look closer than it was...

Chargers- 30

Titans- 20

The Titans keep shedding players and putting trade bait players as inactive. They're going to look like an expansion team.
Harbaugh wisely added ten or so former Vrabel guys and probably still has about four or five. This will stir up some discussion of tear down rebuild topic.
I just want to know who looks good in a blowout.

At this point if they don't trade Chig then bench him. My appetite is whet for camp stud DMR and Gunnar has already seemed to supplant Chig so it's kind of weird to move forward everywhere else but at TE.

Oliver was supposed to be back last week then diving in practice this week and still questionable. I wanna see him. Do we or do we not have another impressive young WR?

Ridley has been a consistent void. When Elic or Dike struggle or they don't incorporate the TE well or throw stupid obvious screens, either the announcers or chats or my own head shifts to "what if Ridley was there?"

It would have a real different vibe and maybe even some hope if the WRs and TEs were all first and second year players with big possibilities.

Down 20, screen pass to Dike who gets smashed for loss of yardage or beat up just to get back to the line...it's brutal. We're losing and that play was like a punch in the stomach.

I could handle 60-21 game if there's three "look at them" drives. A connected deep pass and poor job by some backup defender does nothing for me.

The Chargers run defense has supposedly been springing some leaks. Yeah well I don't want to see Pollard get 20 carries for 100 yards.

Losing is one thing. They gotta stop putting cauliflower on my plate and telling me it tastes like chicken. NFL coaches "never" cater to fans but they might need to now. It's bleak.

I wanna see Kevin Winston look like the steal of the draft that he did briefly in camp but then ya know what? Sit him and give that injured knee more time. Or do NBA load management. Be careful with him so we don't have to be next year.

Harrell finally showed some spark last week. Play him a ton. Let's find out if there's anything there.

Get James Williams on the field already. It's criminal how bad they are and how little he's played.

Stop calling up the gut runs for Tyjae and figure out what ya need for the outside runs. An extra TE? TE in the slot? A FB? Work on strengths and development.

They won't. It'll be brutal and we'll glean nothing from the game.

I think the Titans could have rushing success for as long as they can stick with the run. Maybe a feature Pollard as trade bait game? If/when they get behind, I could see Jesse Minter having his way with Cam Ward and co.

I think the Titans run D is a little underrated (they've had to face Taylor twice and that skews things a little) I think Vidal could be a bit of a trap start. Not saying he's a guy you should sit, just that I expect less than last week. One guy I expect more from than last week is Keenan Allen, who I think is up at the roulette wheel, as I'm not 100% sure Johnston is fully healthy yet, and that as much as anything else is part of his decrease in effectiveness. I think Gadsden is due for a bit of a down week as well, and I'll be curious if we see much rookie v rookie with Gadsden facing off with Winston. From what I've heard the plan to replace McCreary is to move Hooker into the slot, if true, that bodes very well for Ladd McConkey. I'm also expecting Herbert's legs to once again carry some of his fantasy value.

I haven't heard that Hooker would play in the slot.
They're down Woods this week but Diggs and Winston are still available.
It makes some sense since they traded (gave) away almost all their CBs.
DC said whoever plays the slot has never played there before. They seem to like the CB signed from the Packers.
Baker will be one outside spot. I'd guess Harris or new guy could be in the slot.
Womack is another CB but he's been active and not used til last week I think. There's a definite confidence problem in him.

Jalyn Armour-Davis was supposedly this nice addition from Baltimore they were lucky to get. He's been atrocious. A lot of fans are assuming he's benched soon if not ASAP. That excitement to get him probably fueled trading Brownlee some and it just stings bad.

It's like a ship with holes to plug before it sinks. Anyone is a reasonable guess.

It's unbelievable that they went from a top? top five? secondary to this pathetic mess.

I've heard Vrabel rrrreally wants Hooker so we might lose yet another for like a sixth or some garbage pick

This is always how it goes
What a dumb play call that even has the announcers scratching their heads
Penalty
3rd and short becomes "would it be wrong to punt here?"

See Elic bumping pushing and even stiff arm try?
That's him
He's just not a typical WR. He needs contact and it fires him up.

Nice catch by Helm earlier on the sideline. I don't think any other targets.

So weird to be so bad and not use a guy that makes a play every week

Patterson came out of the woodshed and looks possibly better than Vidal today
He looks tiny and like he couldn't keep it up but...kudos to him. I thought he was out of the league

It's horribly upsetting to see games like this and know next week there will be less good players. The few they have will be traded.
And they will be traded at a deadline discount.
And the national media mentions to stockpile picks but they have not. It's just not true.
Further they probably get 5th-7th picks as if those are impactful rounds

Absolutely zero mention of adding players despite cap room and holes everywhere and the deadline discount.

They were not supposedly going to rely on fourth round skill position players but they have. Absolutely baffling that any team in today's NFL would use the fourth round in this manner

I think he was a free agent until the chargers signed him a few weeks back, essentially out of the league.

Reactions: Bri
"the Titans again used Dike, Ayomanor and Jefferson as the three wide receivers in three-receiver sets. However, in two-receiver sets, Jefferson and Dike both played 77.8% of the snaps. Ayomanor lost most of his snaps in two-receiver sets. However, Ayomanor had the best day receiving, catching three passes for 46 yards. While Dike wasn’t as involved as a receiver,"
