What are you, a ####### alligator?I have shorter arms so I may have to get them altered. I notice they will do that for a 12.95 per fee shirt.
I need 32-33 and the smallest I can get is 34 with my neck size. Should I just get the 34's and take them to a tailor, if needed, or go ahead and trust their alterations on the site? The price difference is only bucks a shirt between the site and a tailor so I'm thinking of just ordering them at 34's and seeing where we are.

Point to the dress shirt?#### me. I just bought some dress shirts yesterday. Wish I had seen this.
Yeah I'd say fairly narrow cuffs. How are the regular barrell cuffs? Do they fit well over a watch? I always find that many of these shirt companies make narrow cuffs.
I'm not exactly lean and I go with slim. Slim is for anyone who doesn't have an enormous gut or doesn't want that ballooning shirt effect. Is say extra slim is for skinny or fit guys, I'm probably about 15lbs from pulling those off well. Bag.Is extra slim meant for skinny guys and slim meant for more lean guys with some muscle?
Classic fit will look great. And if you don't wear ties no harm in going up an additional 1/2 inch in the neck since you won't be buttoning top button anyways. So I see a lot of you fit guys posting. How about us more rotund individuals. I'm 5'11" and around 215, with a nice beer gut holding most of the excess. I'm usually a 16.5-17" neck and 34/35 sleeve. Will I look bad in one of the 'classic' fit shirts? I've already noted go w/ the 35" sleeve and I'd get the 17" neck, I don't wear ties often so I can fudge there a bit.
I could poop a better dress shirt than that.Point to the dress shirt?#### me. I just bought some dress shirts yesterday. Wish I had seen this.

This. I'm 5'10", 185 or so. I'm OK in the slim fit, but if I put on 10 more lb's, I'd probably go classic. The last time I ordered, I got a mix of classic and slim, and the slims fit me much better, but the classics don't look bad either.Classic fit will look great. I ordered 6 without issue in the same order...?Yep. I wear slim fit and DD thinks I'm the second coming of Fridge PerryI'm not exactly lean and I go with slim. I don't know about all that. Extra slim stood no chance of fitting without pulling through my chest, back and shoulders :flex:Yep. Yea, I don't want the shirt super tight in the chest, shoulders, and arms. I think I'll go slim.I don't know about all that. Thanks for bumping this - these are my new favorite shirts by far - and I am happy to order more!![]()
Jesus...I want to make sure I am on your good side.I wear a tall 18.5 with sleeves 36/37 and find the pronto uomo from men's warehouse fit pretty good after tailoring the middle. Im guessing they don't have tall and the sleeves would be too short.
Best in moderation at work, IMO.Four more shirts here. Finally making the move to french cuffs for the dress shirts.
I went through a phase with these as a younger man. Just got tired of it, and I can see how it can be perceived as a little douschy.Best in moderation at work, IMO.Four more shirts here. Finally making the move to french cuffs for the dress shirts.
Recognizing that at some level, you've earned the right to always wear cufflinks and two toned blue shirts with all white collars, my biggest issue with french cuffs for everyday wear is that when it starts getting warm, my cuffs get rolled up 2 or 3 times (sometimes before I even walk out the door), and I can really feel that extra material on my forearm when it's a french cuff shirt. And when you decide to roll up on the way to work or midday...do you carry around your cufflinks in your pocket? I'd be losing them all the time.I went through a phase with these as a younger man. Not sure if it's "the style" (I've been wearing them since at least 2008 and they've never had them) but I very much like the lack of a pocket. Probably the #2 feature of the shirt to me behind what I feel is the perfect spread level for the standard collar.Hmmm. You have to add the pocket? Are no pocket shirts the style?
It's where I keep my pens.I really like this feature as well. It gives the shirt a cleaner look IMO. Whayvthe heck do you do with that pocket anyway?
It has less to do with skinny and more to do with your drop, the difference between you jacket size and waist. Broad chest, normal or even a little chubby and it means slimmer or athletic cut shirts and jackets. Since shirts don't normally have a chest (jacket) size they heavily rely on neck size for the cut. So if you have big neck, they will assume the rest is also big.I'm not exactly lean and I go with slim. Only with a suit. I just seem to be having a lot more suit days lately. We are an insurance company and write all our business (about $1 billion worth) through independent insurance agents. My mentor is a big believer in always dressing up when we meet with agents and I've been doing a lot of it lately. That and Chamber of Commerce stuff where French cuffs are pretty common.Best in moderation at work, IMO.Four more shirts here. Finally making the move to french cuffs for the dress shirts.
Jacket and neck size?6'1 195 waist is 34. Should I be going with slim or extra slim here?
42L, 17.25 . I probably need to remeasure my neck as my shirts are typically uncomfortable when I have to button the top button.Jacket and neck size?6'1 195 waist is 34. Should I be going with slim or extra slim here?
Regular slim should be good but you might be close to the extra.42L, 17.25 . I probably need to remeasure my neck as my shirts are typically uncomfortable when I have to button the top button.Jacket and neck size?6'1 195 waist is 34. Should I be going with slim or extra slim here?
When you consider that the standard drop on a suit is 6", the industry is assuming that a 44c individual has a 38" waist. I don't find it a hard stretch that many people don't fit into that standard. It's almost impossible for me to believe there are this many extra slim fitting people on a fantasy football message board, having seen what that cut of shirt looks like. Unless 75% of you never button up to the neck and therefore are buying shirts too large in the first place.
Hit ebay. I just bought 4 pairs from China for less than $20.Anybody have a line on decent, cheap cuff links? These shirts aren't doing me a heck of a lot of good otherwise.
