You can email me your answer at steven.heldt@hotmail.com if this violates any fgb policy. I would simply like to sample some other highly regarded opinions before my draft.
Of course. It's good strategy to know what mags and other sources your competition are using. Do I look at them at the book store or other places? Of course... once i know what sources my league mates are using, I can pretty much determine what players are available at my spot and then compare against FBG to get an understanding on where my value picks are at.
For my recent draft I used FBG cheatsheets and MFL ADP rankings for startup keeper leagues. On both I made my own notes, avoided some guys the sites were high on, moved up others I was high on, etc. They're just guidelines that you need to mold into your own draft strategy...

I don't use FBG cheat sheets. I pay at another site. Tried FBG last year, they did ok but really missed on some guys. Trying a different site this time around.
Not at all. I do look at the other popular ones to get an idea of what my competition is doing. My league has some unique scoring that makes it tough to follow a generic cheatsheet.

this doesnt seem like it would work at all for me or it would be a waste of time. How do I know what sheets the guys at my draft are looking at for sure? What do you do memorize every cheat sheet out there?
Having long been a FBG proponent, it would be ridiculous to suggest that people don't check out other sites. I found a site that's new this year and uses a lot of statistical analysis in developing their projections and I'm a geek for stuff like that.
While it will never replace FBG, I look at it as a resource not unlike asking a doctor for a second opinion.
