I will update from time to time as I am sure others will.

Marcus Hamilton was placed on the non-football injury list at the beginning of camp but recently was added to the active roster.

CB Zack Bowman is impressing and keep in mind Tillman might be out for a while.

Danieal Manning is currently the 1st string free safety.

It is a minor note but Nick Roach sharing 1st team action at strong side linebacker with Piso Tinoisamoa in the absence of Hunter Hillenmeyer.

I was very disappointed to see Harrison report to camp out of shape. He looked hungry and aggressive last year when he got in, and I was expecting a step forward from him. There was some character concerns with him coming out last year too.

Well, there you go.

Basically a fluff piece about Marinelli working with Mark Anderson but he is being noticed as improved early.

Bowman's hammy halts the "star of training camp".

Tommie Harris not practicing much but team says he is 100%.

Pisa Tinoisamoa, Nick Roach, and Jamar Williams in battle to start at strong side linebacker.

SS 6th round pick Al Afalava sees some time with the 1st team to rest starting SS Payne and impressed teammates with his intensity.

Tommy Harris "underwent arthroscopic surgery on his chronically bothersome left knee in March, and said he suffered a hamstring injury since arriving. Harris said the hamstring is what has had him sidelined for a week now in full gear".

Al Afalava getting high praise and moving up the depth chart to possibly be the current backup to Kevin Payne at SS.

The Bears delayed the release of their first depth chart of the summer until today, and while rookie Al Afalava is expected to be a few rungs down the ladder, he's climbing fast.

The sixth-round pick was working with the first team at strong safety Monday. Danieal Manning, who has a tight hamstring, was given a light day of work, and Afalava filled in, with Kevin Payne moving to free safety. It's another sign in the first two weeks of camp that Afalava is catching on quickly at a position where the Bears are not afraid to start young players.

Chris Harris was thrust into that role as a sixth-round pick in 2006.

''It's early; shoot, we haven't even played a game,'' secondary coach Jon Hoke said. ''I think all of those things will get settled once you play a game. Games change everything a little bit for guys. He's done well in practice, but we'll see how well it translates in the games. He shows pretty good athleticism. I'll be anxious to see him play live. He shows instincts. He does a nice job showing he can be a football player.''
Al Afalava continued to run with the first team and looks to have leapfrogged Craig Steltz on the much-anticipated depth chart.
