The Bears Packers rivalry is one of the best.

Definitely better watching a game with a mix of these fans.

The Favre talk and ultimate conclusion is excellent fodder for it.

Some think going to the Bears would tarnish his legend,

but it would be difficult to repeat an event like this historically.

Not sure what would top it.

The games would be awesome.

Fantasy wise, emotional aspect has to be considered. Do the defenses get a bump?

Anything unique you think would happen? Just imagine.

As a Packer fan, no they should not wear it. A Bears fan is not even worthy of sitting next to someone wearing a Favre jersey, let alone let a #4 grace his/her chest on a jersey

As a fan who knows the rivalry, I don't think any Bears fan would actually want to wear it- except for those obnoxious/arrogant/ignorant fans who would do it to just piss off GB fans... the same type of d-bags who wear cubs attire to a Brewers game and then spend the entire game checking their phone to see the score of the cubs game... and when you give them crap about it they get all defensive and act like you're the #####. I'll get off the soap box. Just kind of irritating dealing with idiots like that. So I would imagine that there are plenty of Bears fans who would wear it. But for the wrong reasons- not to show support of Favre, but rather to irritate those who actually LIKE him, because any true Bears fan does not like Favre (at least those I hear from) and was very happy to see him retire

As a Bears fan, I know a lot of Bears fans that have great respect for Favre's play and style.

There are all kinds of fans. Some can't get out of bed after a loss and can't take any ribbing.

Some can enjoy a friendly rivalry, win or lose, hoping for good play, health and fun.

MoP alias?

Jim McMahon played for GB in 1995 and 1996 (Super Bowl team), did that tarnish his image with bear fans.

Are you a drunkard ?Favre has 1 SB victory in 16 years.....overrated.As a Packer fan, you should be happy to see Favre go to a division rival. He's a wreckless gunslinger..

....and the Bears haven't won a Super Bowl in 23 years and only one in their fanchise's history. They don't have a whole lot to be snooty about.

I hope Favre stays with GB and Rodgers gets ticked, demands a trade and leaves, then Favre has only an OK season and retires for real next year and leaves GB without a QB.

I dont know if I could root for Favre as a Bear let alone wear his jersey...

Guaranteed this won't happen.Favre represents the past, and Rodgers is the future..

screw that damn poll!

i use my posts to talk!

uh, hell no!!!!!

if the ####### bears want him so much, good!

hopefully he's injured so the bears suck. oh wait, no qb could help that sorry ### team!

the bears could use him, but the pack won't send him there.

probably the rats with wings, so he's the browns chew toy for Shaun rogers' fat ###!

The Bears won several championships in the 40's.

Yeah I know, but you know how most of the people are on this board, they are so young they only think in terms of Super Bowls. The Bears were NFL Champs in 1921, 1932, 1933, 1940, 1941, 1943, 1946, 1963, and 1985. Still a very long dry spell.

Tell me about it. If I ever see Ron Rivera walking down the street....It would get ugly.I don't think Bears fan will be talking much smack this season. Although I am higher on the 08 squad than most. I think the team will be in Playoff contention until the last couple weeks. Along the Favre lines...I respect him, but don't think he would be a good fit on this team. Personally, I think the Vikes would be a better in-division rival to play for.

Depends on how many fans he spills his beer on. If he behaves like a Bears fan the answer is no. :hifive:
