Chicago FBGuys, tips on going to Soldier Field (1 Viewer)

Driving down from MKE to take daughter and niece to a concert. 

What is the traffic and parking like down there for an event?

Am I better off driving all the way in and finding a parking garage, or parking further out and taking the Red Line ?

Another option is driving to Waukegan and taking the Metra.  You could risk it and try to start from Kenosha, unfortunately the train back to Kenosha does not make regular stops so you have to make sure you are on the last train back to Kenosha or you get stuck in Chicago for the night.  On weekends the price is $10 and covers unlimited rides for the whole weekend.
