Chicago vs Indy thread (1 Viewer)

This doesn't look like the Marvin Harrison I've enjoyed watching for so many years. The fumble was uncharacteristic of him, but I can't remember ever seeing him muff a catch the way he did at the end of the 3rd quarter. I'm still hoping he's just rusty, but it's a stretch.

He doesn't look like the old dominant Marvin Harrison, but he is still getting open all over the place, and does have 7 catches for 68 yards through three quarters, which isn't bad at all.

Man the Colts O-line is bad.

As an Addai owner, I'm mad he's hurt, he gets banged up a lot but I'm glad Rhodes didn't convert.

This is going exactly as I thought it would with Orton. He is who we thought he was.

On a good note, the defense is looking explosive and the turnover machine they were a couple years ago. I don't expect them to get back to that point, but I'm very happy and shocked with how they've played. Running game also looking good tonight.

OGun is playing like an all-pro against the run.

The Bears are killing on third and shorts and are mixing up their plays well in those situations.

What's wrong with his Trent Dilfer immitation? This team will win more than it loses with him doing that with its defense and special teams, and if Forte continues to perform like he has tonight.

With the Panthers, Bucs, and Eagles coming up, the Bears can't afford to let this slip away now.
If I was a Bears fan, Id be more concerned about MIN and GB than those teams. Im not on the MIN going far bandwagon, but theyll be good and I think GB will be right there as well.I dont think its even arguable that both of their offenses are better than CHI eitherThe Bears need their D to look like it has thus far 4 the whole season

Minnesota and Green Bay might just be the two of the best few teams in the conference, but CAR, TB, and PHI are the next three weeks. The Bears need to show well the first month to come out of it at 2-2. This win is huge in putting them in a position to be in contention.

If forte keeps this up, i agree. orton can manage the ball and we will win some games. The trouble is that Orton sucks badly with anything else. he can't win a game or carry the team in a single game, when he's going to need to. IMO, he's terrible but looks much better than he has in the past. I'm not happy with him playing but he's not doing a bad job so far. There will come a time where is abysmal states will catch up and kill us. He's an average qb at best and won't win many games for his teams. I understand that he only has to manage the game but what about the guys around him on offense. Most of them aren't very good either. Are they supposed to make up the difference? The entire offense pretty much stinks and there's no one to pick up the slack, unless Forte comes in a sets the league on fire. :lmao:

The Bears decided to stop the run and pressure Manning. The Colts had some great looks down the field when the pressure didn't get to Manning and the coverage was beaten, but could not connect. It worked today but a sharper Colts offense would have hit them deep a few times and changed the game completely.

ahhh...misunderstandingdidnt no about the schedule, when you said coming up, I interpreted it as "up and coming" as far as likely or possible playoff teamsthats def a tough stretch though. Id rather have that than the stretch where we play IND, DAL, SD, and JAX in a 5 week period though
