Chiefs at Saints (1 Viewer)

Neither defense looks good. Charles getting work, looks healthy and quick

Sick effort from Baldwin on an end zone pass just a bit high.

Cassel has thrown 4 balls a foot over open receivers. LOL, it's like the guy prefers to get his WR's murdered instead of throwing TD's.

I swear, Mark Ingram must have some filthy dirty video of someone. It's almost comical at this point. He's killing their offense.

Pierre Thomas just got robbed of a TD by the official.
Probably my biggest pet peeve about the use of replay is when the refs take it upon themselves to change a call that was probably correct in the first place. I don't care what the replay looked like, there was NO inconclusive evidence that the ball hit the ground. It looked like okay maybe it did, but unless you have 100% evidence you aren't supposed to reverse it! God I hate that.

Pierre Thomas just got robbed of a TD by the official.
What happened?
Pierre dove for a ball in the flat, deflected it up in the air to himself and appeared to get his hands under it. He then got up and ran into the end zone untouched. Replays were hazy as to whether he had his hands under the ball or whether he kind of trapped it against the ground. One particular angle looked like maybe the ball was behind his hands, but there was no clear visual evidence that the ball EVER hit the ground. But since it looked like maybe it did, the ref overturned the call. Complete nonsense.

Another bad call by the refs? I'm not sure how the rule reads exactly, but it seems pretty clear McCluster surrendered on the play.

So refs blow the call which should have been down due to McC giving himself up on the play. then they double the mistake by not giving NO a TD because they blew the whistle. So both teams get screwed in one play.

OK so the refs made the call on the McCluster injury play, went to challenge, reversed.... so now why do they have to spend 5 minutes talking to Romeo on the sideline, explaining the play or the rationale behind the ruling? I dont understand why this is ever necessary. Maybe during a commercial they could talk to him, but why does it have to slow the game down so much....

Why is the pylon in bounds when it sits on the white out-of-bounds? I thought the goal line no longer "extended into infinity" laterally in the out-of-bounds area.

Anyone know what is up with Sproles? He's been sitting on 55 yards rushing for a while, and every Saints play I've seen on RedZone has been with Thomas in the backfield.

Edit: Nevermind, just saw a four yard run by Sproles.

Perhaps the true proof of a bounty program is in how the football gods are punishing the Saints. They sure look like they want to lose this game...maybe they're throwing games to get a better draft pick.

Cowardly play by KC to settle for overtime considering they had the ball at the 30 with about 2:00 left to go and didn't even make the slightest effort to get the TD.

I almost wonder if the refs are told to let a play like that in OT go so as to not blow the whistle and stop a potential game-ending play. If it was a fumble and they blew the whistle errantly, the Saints would've been screwed out of that fumble return.

1. Pointless replay on the downed punt.

2. Missed holding call on the play immediatley prior to the "fumble."

3. Inexcusable failure to blow a whistle on the "fumble" and way too long to sort out a simple play.

This Saints defense might be the worst in the league.
And now they've mentally checked out on 2012 -- looks like a 15-loss team to me. Auto-start anyone and everyone against the Saints D.No more HC gig interviews for Kromer for a while.
