chipmunks digging up my yard (1 Viewer)

I've got a similar problem, but not holes in the yard.  Their main burrow is coming out of the concrete step leading to the front door.  My neighbor had them a few years ago and his wife thought they were so "cute" popping up at the seam of the concrete slabs in his driveway.  After $800 of mud jacking to level out his driveway that was collapsing due to the chipmunk burrows, she now thinks otherwise.

I've gone down the grub prevention route, smoke bombs in the hole, etc.  Now I just live trap them using a piece of bread and peanut butter and dispose of them with the .22 pellet gun.  If there's one, there's a ton of them.  3 in one day last week and a few other random ones here and there.  I'm up to about 8 or so in less than 2 weeks.

Probably digging for grubs, throw down some grub killer.
Here in Southern Maine, Grubs are taking over a lot of lawns. My theory is with the
Fox population exploding- the animals that forage for grubs is way down.

Is your grass dug up? and there are parts(sections) of your lawn missing? If it's this it's Grubs.

I have an owl in my neighborhood that has been patrolling for squirrels and ground squirrels and such.

I would go buy an owl, Vanna.

I have them all over my yard and enjoy watching them but they get into my garage if I leave the door open.  I use a BB gun.

We leave them alone in our backyard, but they've made some homes in and around our garage.  Smoke bombs work, but we just drown them.

I got a bunch of them too. I found if go in my yard every morning from sunup to about 2pm and run around screaming it scares them off.
