David Wright is seemlingly the slam dunk choice, but this is a very unusual league. David Freese and Bill Hall are the other options for 3b.

I will get total points for today and tomorrow only and then reset my lineup for Thursday. Wright only plays one game while Freese and Hall should play two each.

Scoring is:

Runs 3 pts

1B- 2.5 pts

2B- 5 pts

3B - 7.5 pts

Hr - 10 Pts

RBI - 3

BB - 1.66

SB - 5

Out -(-1.1)

I'd still take Wright.

Hall and Freese may both put up 3 or 4 K's in 2 games.

You drafted Wright to ride him to the Championship, now pony up.

Instead I sold Hall and bought Langoria,

Langoria gets two starts, so he looks like the best choice to me.

Plus now I have a stud Al and NL 3B, so I should always be able to get double starts. The problme is I will now always have either Longoria or Wright on the bench, since we start only one 3B with no CI or UT.

If the other options were even remotely decent, I could see sitting Wright, but those options aren't remotely decent.

Hall had Lasik in the offseason and is supposedly see the outside corner pitches that were his huge weak spot last season... we'll see if he can see better. Freese is still unknown at this point.So while I won't concede that they both suck, I will agree that they have potential to suck.

This is a stock market style league and I like it very much. It is very different and has unusual rules and paradigms, but its a lot of fun. It all makes sense once you play it a while, but it is not easy to get a grip initially.
