Any value here with Henry possibly being suspended and White coming up gimpy last week?

Denver D is horrific against the run.......

Titans homers chime in.

TIA

That reminds me...I tried dropping Chris Brown last night and adding Chester Taylor. Haven't checked the waiver transactions in my league yet, but I didn't have more than a snowball's chance of getting him. Guess I'd better look for some upside with Mr. Brown.

Pass the popcorn.

From the Titan's site

"LenDale White hurt a knee, but expects to practice. Chris Brown, who has missed four games because of a sprained ankle, also is expected to practice."

There's definitely value with Chris Brown. Not only does he have a 5.3 YPC average compared to LenDale White's 3.5 YPC, but he's well rested and now healthy. Brown has 121 fewer carries than White, but he has two rushes for 20+ yards, while White has three caries of 20+ yards. There is definitely a chance for Brown to get an increase in playing time and if White gets injured, Brown will be the one and only carrier. He's a great back to have, just to hold onto in the event that he is called upon. Tennessee's remaining schedule (until week 16) is @Den, @Cin, HOU, SD, @KC, NYJ

I must have been asleep at the wheel, but Henry is in jeopardy of being suspended?

Chester > Brown
No, Chester was scooped up by the owner with the #1 waiver position (of course). Still stuck with Chris Brown as my RB5.And I agree with your math above. Chester >> Brown

Brown not appear on the injury report for the first time in a month... any word if Henry is still appealing his suspension? Also, several weeks ago, Fisher seemed to say that Brown's "veteran" knowledge would keep him as the backup once he returned, has Henry's performance changed this? I know that speculating about the backup RBs for the Titans isn't as much fun as discussing next years top 20 WRs who wear white shoes, but any Titan homers who might have heard a press conference or have a strong feeling one way or the other would be much appreciated.

I own White and still --->> That all makes sense, and Brown should get at least half the load when he is healthy (baaawwwhhh). HOWEVER, Fisher seems to love an rb that pounds the defense and wears them down, even if he has a low ypc and isn't a homerun threat.Either way, I'm starting White until I see something change!

Brown felt ready to return last weekend against a Jacksonville defense he ran for 175 yards against in the opener but was deactivated. His return can only help White, who had three 100-yard rushing performances in Brown's absence but had at least 24 carries in each of those games.

This was taken off yahoo.com. Solid Buy Henry's suspension labels Brown the toast of the free agent townChris Brown (RB) Tennessee TitansBrown, who's nursed an ankle injury for the past five weeks, will re-enter the Titans time-share this week now that rookie Chris Henry will begin his four-game suspension. More interesting, Brown's workload in his first game back could be significant with pizza punisher LenDale White's status uncertain after he was forced to the sidelines versus Jacksonville with a knee injury. The Titans' Week 10 opponent, Denver, has been brutalized by the run this season. The Broncos have yielded 5.0 yards per carry and 137.8 rushing yards per game to rushers, equal to the 10th-most fantasy points allowed. Although the Broncos are quick and athletic up front, they lack the size and strength to compete with the Titans' mammoth offensive line. If White is inactive or limited, Brown could net 15-plus touches, making him a valuable flex option in 12-team and deeper leagues. Brown, available in 85 percent of Y! leagues, could be a lion in the savanna in Week 11.

Chris Henry-RB- Titans Nov. 11 - 5:48 pm et

Chris Henry rushed three times for -2 yards and added two receptions for 15 yards against the Jaguars in Week 10.

Henry picked up playing time in the 2nd half after LenDale White left with a leg injury and the Titans stayed in passing mode, but he failed to do much with the opportunity. Henry is expected to start serving his suspension next week and return in Week 15.

Chris Henry-RB - Titans Nov. 10 - 12:02 pm et

Titans RB Chris Henry is expected to withdraw the appeal of his four-game suspension next week.

Henry is expected to back up LenDale White against Jacksonville on Sunday, then rescind his appeal so he can resume playing in Week 15. Chris Brown (ankle) is almost certain to get another week of inactivity in Week 10.Source: Nashville Tennessean

The only problem with the above information is that is from a week ago... Any more recent info floating on the web? I haven't been able to turn anything up regarding Henry's appeal in any of the Texan chatrooms/blogoshpere, etc. Anyone else heard anything new?

Yes I need to know what's going on here. Limited roster space in PPR league. Would love to pick up Brown but just picked up Pitman.

I just read all 3 RBs could be active. Chris Henry did NOT rescind his appeal for suspension yet. Borwn is too risky to start unless you have no other options. I'm benching him unless something clears up prior to 1pm...
