Recently reinstated Bengals WR Chris Henry is accused of harassing a valet parking attendant after Henry allegedly left his car without paying.The parking attendant accuses Henry of going chest to chest with him and saying ""F-you...F-this...don't you know who I am?" Henry allegedly also threw a five dollar bill on the ground in front of the attendant and declared "You better pick that up b----". No charges have been filed, but the Bengals issued a statement on the matter: "We are aware of the reports. At this point it's not clear that anything substansive will develop."

That may be the stupidest piece of investigative journalism that I've ever read.
 
The guy just does not get it and will be out of football in a couple of years. That being said, he could be very good the rest of this year.

 
Who hasn't done this before? I did it on Saturday at TGI Fridays. Those attendants can be snotty...

"We dont offer valet sir.."

"You best be respectin me *****!"

At first I was wondering which Chris Henry you are talking about, then I realized it doesn't matter because they both are. The name must be cursed.

Rashaan Salaam (sp?) did this to my old room mate his rookie year. Had his car valeted and went to a party in the penthouse. Half hour later came back down and said the party was lame can he get his car and his tip back. My roomie got yelled at a little so he said Fine take it. Gave him the $5 but as Salaam walked away he crumpled, tossed it over his shoulder and said You need it more than me. Real class.

I wouldn't be surprised if this happened often with Henry, from valet to waiter. He's a known PoS and will soon enough get back on the suspended list and hopefully behind bars where he belongs. Some people just don't deserve the money they've earned.

Yes...the parking attendant misunderstood and thought Chris Henry was a decent human being. He won't make that mistake again.

Deer urin used for hunting placed anywhere in the car will work wonders..just spray it all over and you pretty much need to get rid of the car. :rolleyes:

Hey, I'm not wishing that on him, I'm just saying that if you play in the gutter long enough you will get dirty. One of these days he will stand toe to toe with the wrong fella.Edited to add that most likely it will be a police officer that puts him out of his misery.

Not that Henry hasn't earned having people jump to conclusions about his actions, but there is a bit of a chance the parking attendant is lying or exaggerating.

The last 3 times Henry was in the news for "being in trouble again" he wasn't in fact in trouble again. So you may be right.

NEWPORT, Ky. -- Chris Henry could face another legal obstacle before he hits the field for the Cincinnati Bengals.The troubled wide receiver is the subject of a police complaint filed Tuesday in Newport, where a valet attendant accused Henry of shoving him during an argument.Jason Baker, of Bellevue, told police that Henry became angry when asked to pay $5 for parking at Newport On The Levee, and he said the football player cursed him and asked if the driver knew who he was.According to the complaint, Henry stood chest to chest with Baker and forced him to walk backward, before throwing a $5 bill to the ground saying, “You’d better pick that up, (expletive).”Baker said he picked up the bill, handed it to Henry and told him to leave before he called police.Henry’s companion got between the pair and pushed a microphone into the attendant’s face as he tried to call police from his valet booth, the report said.The attendant said he believed Henry intended to fight him before security arrived and the football player’s friend pulled him away, and police said the pair fled in a vehicle across the Taylor Southgate Bridge toward Cincinnati.Police were called back to Newport On The Levee a short time later when Baker said Henry and Alston Dyneal had returned, and officers banned the pair from the popular dining and entertainment complex.The attendant said Henry and Dyneal walked past him on their way to the parking garage and warned him that he should hope never to see them again.Officers told Baker to file a criminal complaint, and the report indicated that Henry and his friend could potentially be charged with menacing or harassment.Henry was activated Monday by the Bengals, having completed an eight-game suspension for violating the NFL's conduct policy after he was arrested four times in two seasons with the team.There was no immediate indication whether the most recent incident would trigger a probation violation in Florida, where he is on probation on a 2006 firearm conviction, or additional penalty from the Bengals or the NFL.The Bengals declined comment until more information was released about the incident.

I have to agree. I picked him up off waivers a couple of weeks ago anticipating his return. Well he has returned. Same Bat time, same Bat channel....
