What are Ivorys short and long term prospects...he's still very young, has looked good at times, and Pierre Thomas looks like a lost cause. I expect Reggie Bush to return to the scatback role he has played, but will ivory be the grinder?

Is he worth a start this week, which could be his last audition, or is he a backup to jones and company?

Once

And against a bad defense

I'm not starting him but I'm not dropping him either. This is in a keeper league with deep benches so I'm betting on possible value next year, not so much this year.

Wth DeAngelo out, he gets the start. The way carolina has been playing it's no downgrade. I'll be holding him thru next year.

If Thomas doesn't come back I can see Ivory on the field with Bush filling that roll at times. It's a wait and see so if you have the space.

I think this could be read two ways.....He owns DWill and likes the matchup of Ivory vs. Car....meaning Ivory vs. Car is no downgrade when starting Ivory over DWill (this week).

Dont wait until Bush comes back to stash Ivory. The run game will open up a good bit when defenses have to account for #25. PT is still hobbled and may or may not return this season much less next season. Ivory will eventually develop into a Deuce McAllister style back assuming he can stay healthy.
