I'm confused about his percieved value in the FF world. I own this guy in 6 of 6 leagues I play in, and the only offer I have received in the last 6 months is a future 3rd round rookie pick. Zero interest elsewhere.

This point? How do you not set his value as "starting RB for the DAL Cowboys"? I know that that is excessive and high.....but you don't want to be that guy who gets fair value because you're valuing him as a RB in a 3 headed Monster attack only to see him blow up, take the starting job and dominate with it. I don't think I'd trade him right now (except for insane value)......but, IMO....you have to look at him like you would a RB at the beginning of the season who won the job in camp. Michael hasn't exactly earned anything more than a one week opportunity at this point.Not saying you should sell for a future 3rd, but his floor is no different than a lot of players that finally get a chance. His ceiling is the selling point, but it sounds like all the owners buying that ceiling have been owners of Michael for a while now.

Trading Randle for anything with good value. In standard, he was the 6th highest scoring RB in my league. Not worth giving him away for a song as there's a good chance Michael flops (as he has in Seattle), then they go back to Randle. Randle has little trade value because of C Michael but he's also not worth trading away because he's produced in fantasy and if Michael flops he has no other competition.

I equate him to Rawls when Lynch went down and they didn't know the severity of the hamstring. Yeah...he might be a one week wonder, be part of a RBBC or be riding the pine if Lynch isn't hurt.....but at that moment of uncertainty.....his value is the starting RB in SEA. To me, Michael is no different right now. I certainly could get fair (if I approximated his value at RBBC for a week) value if I moved him this week....but who, after holding onto him for however long, is honestly is going to trade him for that right now? Last week?....I could see it. But today and up game time.....he's a starting RB in the NFL with a world of talent behind a (presumably) elite line and should be viewed as such.

Cautiously optimistic about this weekend. Dallas is bad, but CM has great burst through the hole. That's his best quality. He is not really a great "make you miss" type in the open field, but he hits the hole like he's shot out of a cannon. All he needs is a decent opening and he will pick up yardage. I think he can do pretty well. I wish the team was better though.

I am rolling him out in DFS and a few leagues where I don't have much at RB. Not really expecting a big game, but hopeful.

Gates' 27 targets over the past two weeks equals Green's targets over 5 games, but Rivers is continuing to target Green, even with Gates' return. Gates shows no signs of slowing down, but he is 35, so it is hard to imagine there is much left in the tank. Whether Green stays in SD or walks after the season, his future remains bright.

Evans is a consensus cornerstone player -- if you don't like him, fine, just turn around and flip him for other top assets that you do like. Even without Green included this is a no brainer insta-accept. Even if Green were on the other side it's not enough for Evans.

We don't know that he's starting -- we have some non-official speculation and some vague coach-speak about getting him more work. Even if he does completely usurp Randle's role, that role is < 15 carries / week. Guys with "a world of talent" typically aren't dumped for a conditional 7th -- elite athletic measurables, sure, but the bulk of the evidence thus far doesn't indicate elite overall talent as a RB. Great line or no, Dallas is struggling to move the ball on the ground -- they're middle of the pack in rushing on the season. It's probably not going to get any better until Romo and Dez return.

I own Michael and hope he comes out strong, but tons of people are being waaaaaay too optimistic in here. Yet again. I'll be more than happy with him looking better than Randle has, to the tune of a 11-50-0 or something, and hoping that he can wrest the feature job away by the end of the year when the team should be healthy and humming. Those expecting immediate FF-savior type impact are setting themselves up for a huge disappointment. Again.

I'd put his value roughly in the rookie 2nd range -- I'd probably accept an early 2nd for him while declining a late-looking 2nd. I'd definitely sell for any 1st, or any player in that value range.

True. But it's also not out of the question that Michael ends up with 7 carries and 19 yards. This is a HUGE question mark. One that has me very curious. What can I tell ya - wouldn't do it. I think Michael and Diggs are both lottery tickets either of whom may or not pan out. I've seen one good season from Evans (actually had him last year), but I stayed away this year. Just don't have a great deal of confidence in him. Green may or may not be anything also, but definitely have not seen enough from him to consider him anything other than a prospect.

I personally would prefer to keep my lottery tickets to myself and let it play out that than make that particular trade and especially when I'd have to give a draft pick to boot. Like I said, no thanks. You feel differently. I get it.
