Listening to the Dallas Cowboys podcast... They went into detail on why he was cut and essentially it's exactly what everybody else was saying....
Didn't know his plays
Didn't know the blocking assignments
Was a bit of a goofball
Didn't like how after his one carry he flexed at his own sideline.
Didn't like the celebrating with his former teammates.
Man it's a shame. Shows you that all the talent in the world doesn't matter if you don't have a passion for the game and are sort of an idiot.
In college, CMike took the ball from his QB (on a pass-play)..
It sounds like he was only able to fulfill what they should have expected..
It also sounds like a system w/ a fullback would do a world of good
It sounds like he was only able to fulfill what they should have expected..
I've read this six times. What does it mean?
My apology for the late response.. Ive been kinda over the hype for sometime, but wanted to share my two cents to the press release..
AFAIK In College, Tannehill dropped back for a pass..
It also appeared (to me) that after reading the defense? (perhaps the Mike)
Tannehill made the choice that it was going to be a "pass-play"..
While Christine took a few steps, and snatched the ball from the QBs hand's...
Does it really matter: IF the QB didnt know the play?
(imho) IT was pretty firmly established that the RB "didnt know his plays" which means "doesn't know his blocking assignments" very likely "goofball" no less. CAN we really expect too see anything less than fistbumping anyone willing?
Basically, I believe some things can be coached.. But its ludicrous for Dallas to state things like: "Didnt like his flexing" DALLAS has had every form of DIVA, pompous player imaginable, and been damn proud of the fact..
I realize I can be quite dumb.. However, I believe IF Washington can get Christine dialed into a handful of plays to hone? He'd be downright legit in some fashion. A limited change of pace RB, is what Im suggesting...
But for Dallas to pin all the blame on the player, w/o crediting the Coaching staff for any failing? I say
