Christine Michael Volume 3: Inevitable Greatness Soon Achieved (1 Viewer)

Michael had two season ending injuries at Texas A&M (acl and broken bone). Should he ever get to the point where he is the bell cow, can he tolerate the weekly punishment he will have to endure?

LOL this guy. The gift that keeps on giving.

Seahawks can blame themselves for scoring 3 through 3+ quarters though. Sad offense.

 
Say what you want, if they don't keep trying to give Rawls touches this may have been a different game. Rawls looked terrible.

 
I think this will be a mess all season. Procise will get some work when he's healthy, especially on passing downs.

Seeing as he only had 7 carries i don't think the game would've been much different.  Wilson couldn't move much and the Rams played well on defense.

I agree that the team looked terrible on a few of those touches, especially the first two. Getting hit by multiple defenders in the back field is a tough way to start. Rawls looked great on the reception in the left flat that he took inside the five yard line. I don't think Jim Brown or Barry Sanders would have looked good on the bulk of his carries either. 

Offensive line was putrid at times, but opened some spaces on a few of Michael's carries.

(Rotoworld) Seahawks coach Pete Carroll was impressed by Christine Michael's play against the Rams in Week 2.

Analysis: The Seahawks lost the game but Carroll liked what he saw from C-Mike, who ran for 60 yards on 10 carries after starter Thomas Rawls went down with a leg injury in the first half. "He looks like he shot out of a cannon," said Carroll. "He had the unfortunate turnover, but other than that he really hit it really well." While Rawls should be fine for Week 3, Michael has outplayed him in on a grand scale this season and projects for a bigger role going forward. With Rawls and Michael continuing to swap roles, it's probably best for fantasy owners to stay away from this situation until it sorts itself out.

I chalked that up to him being injured still. He clearly hasn't recovered and his new injury seems to confirm that. Best that he sits for a bit.

he got kicked in the shin and got a contusion.  how does that have anything to do whether he has recovered from a broken ankle?

the offensive line sucks, and Bevell's playcalling is vanilla and predictable.

Totally related. The body's a unit and a bad ankle injury affects the rest of the soft tissue (and the rest of the body).  Turf toe can make you more susceptible to hamstring tears. It's a crazy body we inhabit...

Yeah . . . no. It's a deep bruise from being kicked.

 
This situation is shaping up like I hoped it would.  Seattle more than any other team plays the best player and hopefully that continues. 

 
I wish Rawls would just sit out a week or two and get better. All he's done is play enough to make neither of them valuable.  Take a break Tommy. You're a shadow of 2015 Rawls. Go heal, my friend.

As I said...no matter what blurbs the coaches put in the press all that matters is  what happens on the field.  That will drive them.  It's obvious in this case until Rawls can really get healthy.  

C-Mike ...you're up.

I'm thinking so. Michael has a much better matchup and if he's going to get 20+ carries, that is really tough to pass up on. I need to pick 2 out of 3 between Michael, Ware and Lat Murray. Gonna be thinking this one over all weekend.
