Close friend of mine M. shared with me that he grew up with Lt. Damon Leehan, they went to basic training together and x ray school. Damon went on to become an officer, while M. stayed in the reserves, worked full time and started a family. M. shared with me several years ago that a movie could possibly be made of Damon. Well it is finally out for all to see, and if you have Amazon prime you can watch it this month. While watching this movie it reminded me a lot of Somalia and the crappy times spent with some awesome people. At the end of the movie it is stated that "Shared pain builds strong bonds!" I 100% agree and I still talk to guys I served with in Somalia 20 plus years later. If you find some free time give this movie a watch.
