I was logged from home into my work via Citrix Receiver - Remote Desktop Connection. I closed the session and opened up my google chrome browser (not via the closed Citrix Receiver window). I clicked on a facebook link (dumb, I know) that went to a NSFW site. Nothing too awful (or good depending on your view) but it would have been frowned on heavily at work. Pop-ups started happening, so I just shut down my home computer. What bothered me (besides a virus I'm likely to get) is that when the computer shut down, it made the logoff sound my work computer makes, not my home computer. Could any of that have been transmitted to my work IT? The facebook and then pop-ups were all in google chrome (which is definitely my home computer as our work only uses IE). Thanks for any help.
