803 must be the highest trophy level you've been. You actually have to hit 1250 for the achievement.
ok, so you are saying I have to win back 141 trophies to get to 803 and then it will start to count toward the 1250? I dont think that is the case. I will attack now and see if my trophy count goes up in the achievement window.

you'll have to regain the trophies and it won't count toward the total. your total trophy count is what needs to hit 1250

Damn, i thought i could sneak by this way...

Anyone know whether damage to defensive clan troops is saved between attacks? In other words, if the dragon in my castle sustains 500 hp damage in defending the first attack, does it come out for the second attack healed, or down those 500hp?

comes out brand new

I sat down my kindergartener this morning and instructed her to start an upgrade when she gets home from school this afternoon

Are lightning spell upgrades worth it? For 500k elixir you get a piddly 9% gain in damage (level 2 to level 3), which of course comes with a similar increase in spell cost.

My dilemma is that I have only lightning and balloons left to upgrade before TH7 completes...

My upgrades during TH6 to TH7 is a mess. I have no rhyme or reason at this point. I hate not having a plan. Not even sure when I should start the 6 day build to TH7 at this point.

I'm not sure if it will be worth it, but I started the lightning upgrade yesterday

I have Lightning up to level 5 but I'm pretty sure I did not do level 3-5 until I started having alot of extra elixir hanging around. You'll probably benefit from having the elixir right when you upgrade to TH7, but if you're days away you might as well use it now and build it back up.

lightning is worth it. but I would be sure to research heal first just so you have it

the lightning will be useful for when you're farming dark elixir. you can just bolt the guys elixir storage and quit the match

Another good point.

I can't find enough uses for elixer so I just upgrade every spell when I can.

I just did my first 19 Giant rush on a TH5 crappy castle.

Because I can.

The upgrades to heal (33% from level 1 to 2, and 25% from level 2 to 3) are what make the lightning upgrades so meager in comparison.

I guess I'm contemplating as Bobcat suggested, just saving it to spend once TH7 finishes in a couple days. I'm just not sure I'd see much difference between 330hp lightning and 360hp lightning, particularly when I fill my 2 spell slots with heal most of the time. In dark elixir farming, have you found a noticeable difference?

On the flip side, I don't want to see the lab idle at all, so if not lightning, then balloons...

Hello

We're going to have a short maintenance break tomorrow, and that'll start a boost special. The image below gives you a (very subtle) hint about what the boost will be

Kind of sucks to get a boost for something I can't even get yet. And will that be a boost in spell making times, or a boost in upgrading the spell center?

So much downtime now, all builders working....
its tempting but I try hard to avoid that
Yea... But then, if that 4th guy isn't building, his time going to waste. Gotta burn the time regardless,,,
right

I usually keep one available to upgrade walls, or if im going to have a couple hours to raid ill leave him open for a big ticket item
I try to always keep all my builders on task. I try to time it so I can fill my stores for when one comes off a project. I clear any new trees, build as many walls as my bank account allows, then send them off to their next build.

Sleeping builders stresses me out.

My TH5 will be finishing its upgrade to TH6 tonight, so I'll have all sorts of things to build. You all can live vicariously though me.

My friend who plays clash of clans came over to my house on monday and I was drunk, like, you know, and wilely and just plain ####### rude I turned the conversation to Flappy Bird, which this girl who was there kept playing some weird copy of it that's slower and easier, and then conversation sort of dipped, from there, after I let the girl play the original version of Flappy Bird on my iPad, into this wistful and ####in' plaintive call for the simpler times, of games ala C64 etc., which is such a funny and ignorant conversation to be involved in that it makes me clap my hands gleefully, like a ####### scélérat with a ####### chat, like when you meet an American from Atlanta who hates black people and you shower in this beautiful idiocy and pray no one ruins the flow of delicious stupid.

Then around the metaphorical conversational corner, Clash of Clans peeked, and this real ugliness and loathing reared: people wishing harm to players of it, voicing utter loathing of not just the players, but who they are as people, and how they live their lives economically and socially and as if their foulness for playing this game is tangible and real and renderable to glue and by-products etc with this denouement that enveloped time and space and the viscerality of the CoC's meat bubbled with disease and a moistly discharging viral load being wetly ground & amputated from like a ####### unshaved armpit/groin.

My friend frowned, like, and quietly deleted Clash of Clans as he stood awkwardly in the doorway, and whatever hard work he'd invested from a year, that lost time like a ragged flag in the wind, all soiled and lonely kinda with the embedded rope ringlets tapping hollowly on the steel pole when no one is around, and he is currently 600xp ahead of me on Duolingo this week, for French, which I'm only learning so I can read voyage au bout de la nuit that I picked up at a garage sale because it looked interesting and I thought it was just like, weird offshoot invested passion but I just looked in his car, and on the dash he's got already fondled and creased print outs of conjugation of manger and boire and I'm like, stuck going que and laquelle and c'est quoi and c'est quoi and c'est quoi
