I am away for 6 days, so I dropped out of the Clan. Being Clanless I started to get invites, and so I joined a dutch clan figuring there might be interesting football discussion. I still need defense troops, I can log on once a day and get them.

Oops...no English spoken. OK fine...google the dutch word for wizards and I am good right.

I wake up this morning and see they have gone to war!! And all cc filled with archers

So 33 minutes into the war... FBGs 18 attacks for 52 stars, Chinese 1 attack for 3 stars.

Most of their CC's are empty. Which actually cost us 2 stars as one person kept trying to lure it to the point of running out of time.

The consensus in chat has been that it's ok to honeypot #1 with your second attack, but only after you've 3-starred your +5 opponent.

Check my (smliteguy) or mdd's replay on 1. Drop 2 archers on the second square up from bottom and nothing will trigger. 2 archers for 1600 de.

By my count 20 of us so far have hit the honeypot for 390k gold/elixr, 1600 DE.

I've barely been on lately. I'm waiting out L3 drags to finish and I'm siting on 35kDE. If someone gives me a shield I use it till it nearly runs out and go from there and try to raid only revenge targets.

Anytime I hit anyone not revenge I'm getting 3 zapped back which is normal I guess.

after l4 hogs are started it will be full on barching for black wall time.

Boring? What excitement have we had from our previous wars? I thought boring was a gimme....like winning...

Yeah the war thing has been really one-sided. Except for the very first war they have all been blowouts.

The matchmaking needs to start taking into account some more variables.

-Stars per attack

-%destruction

-Total stars

stuff like that.

I like the free monies and all that, but seeing one come down to the wire would be good.

This is not that hard to pull off. Just need same clan size and matchmake at the same time.

This is kind of where Im at. Its just a waiting game because I dont want to attack and then lose it since I have no builders. I wait out my shields and have 3 levels left in single player. But dont even want to do that because I have no builders. i will leave that for when I need the loot.

I found no issue getting DE by doing mass drag at the 1600 trophy level. I hit next sometimes 50 times and settle for no less than 1000. Ideally 1500.

I use 2 rage 1 heal and use the rage to lead them to the DE storage while flanking with BK to ensure they don't wander too far.

This was me. I kept trying to lure them out. I then notice I had 90 secs left and released the hogs. Took out all the defenses then ran out of time.

This was me. I kept trying to lure them out. I then notice I had 90 secs left and released the hogs. Took out all the defenses then ran out of time.

I now know you can see how many troops are in a CC. The more you know.

charlemagne is my son. I've got him back in the boog for 1 war per week.

I'm jumping to fbgs to help get up to 50 for tonight.

Forgot how nice it is to have your TH outside your walls while farming.

I've got my TH set up in the upper corner in a spot that they basically have to go through it along with a bunch of bombs and 2 wiz towers to get to my DE Storage. Haven't lost any DE in awhile with this setup except for a little from my drill when it builds up overnight.

I never leave any gold up for grabs, if after farming or a war I don't have enough to do a defense upgrade, I just spend it on walls. It's virtually impossible on my non war base to extract anything without giving me a shield.

We were going to have 3 people left out regardless so tried to go by that for people who hadn't attacked and had low troop requests and donations which normally helps point out activity. And still were one over so I kicked one of my accounts out too.

I did attack but it showed it on mine as I hadn't attacked either, so I don't think you misread. I do have low donations though because I assumed that if I'm taking up someones castle space by donating my lowbie's it won't help much.
