You know what SuperCell needs?

Something where you can save your most common troops builds and just press the button once to start that build.

i.e. I split 12 Giants, 8 WBs, 72 Archers and 72 Barbs all in my 4 different barracks to train efficiently re: time.

Would be nice if you could save a "Lavaloon Build Out" "Barch Build Out" or whatever you want to name them.
It's crazy that they don't have it already.

Been asking for this for almost 2 years already.

Queing up some spells would be nice too

Look at the big brain on Bender. If we could do this plus easily copy/make base building more efficient :confetti: this game might become the most downloaded game....

I'm a do this.

Its gohowiz time. So how many of each and what is deployment strategy? Because I've basically only had success with air raids.
I switch around a little depending on the base (how I'm going to lure CC etc, this is maybe the most important part, their CC troops want nothing more than to sodomize your hogs). But the gist of it is

2 golems

8 wizards

16 hogs

4 WBs

12 barch to help with lure

(8 spots left over for misc: couple wiz, extra barch, extra WBs, extra hogs and drop a couple barch, depends on the base)

2 heals (save at least one for anticipated double bomb spots) 1 rage (whenever, I like when hogs hit core or a big clump of towers)

CC- I've had good results with all wiz, better results with 2 witches 1 barb, to dispose enemy CC. Kill their CC with yours and ideally yours afterwards will turn and follow golems in to core. So-

Pull their CC troops (with 3 hogs) to near where you plan to place your golems.

Drop CC kill squad on their CC troops and quickly after, deploy golems on their way towards core (again trying to time it so that your CC kill squad has finished their job and are turning towards core about 10 spaces behind golems)

Drop wizards then WBs immedietly after deploying golems (watch for splash hitting golems)

And finally, deploy hogs. I'm still raw with this but deploying in 2 sets, on the same path golems took, about the time they breach first wall and really start tanking has been working, so in essense about 10 seconds after I've deployed golems. Maybe one big mass of hogs is better, not real sure yet (someone let me know).

When I do this attack, once I have their CC troops pulled to a corner, I'll probably drop the entire army in a matter of 15 seconds and save a wiz or few arch for cleanup if you can. It's like a rapid fire race against the clock.

A golem getting hung up on the first wall will kill this attack, as will spending too much time disposing of the CC. I've attacked 3 near max TH8s now with this comp, twice failed on time at 99%, once failed when golems got hung up on first wall, all 3 had the potential for 3* with better execution. It's the only comp I personally have felt the potential to 3* max TH8s with. Worst case is you 2* unless the deployment gets messed up but even still, 2* sleepwalking is likely.

Jump over to Honda real quick and check my 2 war attacks to see me do exactly what I've described above (I'll learn to post videos some day, but this is not that day).

GL and post replay!
My army is nearly built for this. I'll let you know how it goes, but I have no idea how to post a replay.

97% Ten Times....it went as planned. I got caught watching my kill squad and failed to release the golems. That 5 seconds cost me. My BK was hacking on a barracks and had one more barracks next to it when time expired. I should have held back a wiz or something.

ETA: I deployed the hogs all together. Someone suggested an additional heal instead of rage, but I used the rage on the core and the hogs, a golem and some wizards all ended up using it, so I think the spells were OK. Just wish a hog or something quicker would have survived. Several wiz were alive at end just blasting away at walls. Stupid wizards.

Yep, too familiar, both of those things.

Nice. I am going to try a mass hog deploy next time then.

Would it be better shtick if I played/recorded my crappy version of this and uploaded it to youtube?

We're going to have to go with Don't Stop Believing as our first dance song instead. I haven't played Canon in D since I was about 7 years old.
Very nice. This is safe for work if anyone was worries. I was, so I closed my office door to watch it. Agree on the first dance song.

Tried it again and forgot wallbreakers.

So freaking stupid. Still got 2, but 3 was never a possibility as my golems just sat there pounding on walls the whole time.

golems pounding on walls, you don't say.

 We might be long lost brothers or something. I forgot half my WBs on my most recent go, that's where I learned that a golem hung up on the wall will kill a chance at 3*. But it's nice that a fail most likely means a 2* anyway.

A wise man once told me that taking only one golem and more hogs would be more effective.

He may be right.

I want to try a new attack type. What army should I try? Send me a target.
Sniping TH10 is huge +++++EV now. These guys don't stand a chance. Find another one and run the same gameplan more or less.
How about a 8 drag with 4 rages. W/ some Golems and Wizards. Filled CC with something crazy? Thoughts?
I wouldn't go crazy and mix things up just to try some random new attack. Just reload what worked on that th10.

There's a small consensus building to run nonstop war with no policy on opt in/out until we hit level 5. In this situation where there is not a multiple of 5 we won't wait. So get your trophies up above the N+4 level to lock in a shot.

After we get level 5 (And all the hot #####es that come with it) we revert to the regular schedule.

There are currently 5 openings btw. Fax your application to igbomb.

If my vote counts I vote to keep schedule as is. The break is already hardly a break, and falls at a time that I would assume would be a busy night/day for everyone.

I am for keeping the current schedule. Throwing off the schedule to get somewhere a week early seems not worth it. It's nice to have a little break

I also vote to keep same schedule. I think it was SMN who posted his reasoning in game chat yesterday and i agree with everything he said. it's not much of a gain to go non-stop, i assume everyone understand that. i do get that there is an opt out option, but that also would hurt long run gains by going non-stop since higher count wars = higher clan xp. my $0.02.

Quattro guys, love that you hand out skulls like they're barbs but I honestly don't think they're helpful when barching a TH8 or higher. Maybe I'm doing it wrong but when barching, I rarely ever get to take out an AD so the skulls get smoked pretty quick.

Don't want to waste your cooking time.

When air raiding, #### yeah they're awesome.

Sorry, I give skulls out like candy. I'll do minions from now on when you ask.

No need to apologize; I love it when I'm air raiding for DE. I just feel like I'm wasting them barching and the 30+ minutes it takes you to cook.

This Quattro opponent has some of the most rushed, crappy bases, I've ever seen, and their offensive progress is actually worse. They out-TH10 us 5 to 1 and they do not stand a chance in hell. The funny thing is their clan message is all about how they're a hardcore war clan.

I think it'd be funny to go shock and awe on these bozos...show them how serious the business can get.

From 11-20, the have 1 guy with L2 drags. 11-16 (or so) are TH8.

The real question is how have they won 39 wars?

I'm thinking they may have had some guys bail for other clans.

There is a definite problem with the ai after the update

Check out their attack on Joe and watch their wall bombers double back. Fudd picked up on it

I went to the forums but have never posted there. Not even sure where it would go. Not sure if someone wants to fire up a thread there

Here's what I think happened.

that golem went for the cannon before it was dead. cannon died while on the way in. Now, the golem didn't have a straight path to get to the next defense unit because the jump did not cover the intersection between it and the AA.

I've seen jump spells work only in the direction where the targeting unit will go as the crow flies when the place it wants to go is not accessible by that spell.

my ban is over i can post whatever there.

I can definitely see the one with the cannon. He could get in, not out.

The guy who jumps back to the outer region where all the buildings are dead and attacks a wall is the baffling one. Then jumps back in and attacks....another wall.

Supercell have announced this last update was meant to include a Level 8 archer for TH10s, but developers were split on whether the dress she is clad in was white and gold, or blue and black.
