He also mentions the farming dis-incentive and potential for loot shortages. Though I don't think that's really hit full force just yet, and likely won't be noticeable until a few weeks after the gem boost expires.

Also talks about difficulty of acquiring a shield, which while not discussed in detail is/was a huge pain for people that want to gather a war cc well in advance and are doing nothing wrong according to supercell.

Galadon was right on the nose with most of his assessment.

Glad that the next update I'll be able to look up something on where it's at in it's cycle of booting me out before I start. But maybe that won't be a problem now that it will (hopefully) reset the clock when I've been offline for a while.

The update has been great for me, my sons account is getting hammered. I changed my attack strategy at the update, so that might contribute why I'm swimming in the DE pool I made over at my base. I heated it so it should be nice and cozy if anyone wants to come over for a swim.

if you're talking about the Honda thing, there were 3 bases that had been 2 starred and we needed 1 star with 1 attack left to tie. Rob had calculated one base of the 3 would give us the destruction % if 3 starred to get us the tie break win. the attack in question got us the star on one of the other 2 bases. to be fair, chat was a bit clutter because Rascal had just pulled a 3 star out of his nether region.

If you are looking at it from only a war perspective, sure

But what about the desire to move, just to get new toys. You war guys are overly obsessed with war and what others should do

Other than Infernos, there is nothing new at TH10. He'll also have a ton of fun now getting crushed as an early TH10 in farming

I think the latest update has convinced me to never hit the TH10 button.

If you aren't going to war like yourself then you can do whatever floats your boat.

If you are constantly waring there are 30-35 others that are also tied to your progress. So it does make a difference.

Yeah, could see that as well. During boost week though you would get vastly more out of gemming all goblins/archers/barbs as much as possible and spam constantly until your fingers fall off.

One issue is TH11 are hitting TH10 for elixer because it's all they really need to farm. TH9 don't need quite so much so it's not quite the drain to their economy. TH8 also have nearly no use for it so it's going to still pile up for them.

I've let the powers that be know. Keep in mind I don't have any standing here. I'm like the craigbz of the AAA class of rwcs.

They are super ballsy and want to kick it off at like 7pm EST tonight as 45/45. I think they might draw farmers. Though farmers now have some 11s so weights shouldn't catch. They have it these friday wars every single time for a month or so now so they know what the #### they are doing.

Yeah, that one was a pretty good bit ago. RedCloud has a new system he's been using that's been getting matches in seconds. Even the TWCs use it now.

The lack of giving a ####, the terrible balance we have (TH9s are just a hair above worthless) and some people who are just plain old terrible and not improving. It sucks to put in the time to farm/build/donate and then having slim to no chance at winning because others don't give a ####.

Sucks guys - I know for me, when I'm in a war and too much time passes I freak out and drop 10 dollars on gems to at least get the attacks done. Twice or so a month, I opt out when I know I'm going to be busy as all hell. Things happens from time to time but we're trending in the wrong direction with using all attacks lately it does seem.

Make any changes you guys feel you need but I like most of the clan very much

I can't imagine starting a game if I know that it will take 2 years and a thousand hours of gameplay before I can unlock some of the pieces. Then again, new players probably have no idea.

Anyway, I'm starting to think SC could see winter was coming, and TH11 was launched as an attempt to squeeze out a little more juice before the game withers.

kind of disagree with this. i would guess most people starting a game on their phone as opposed to a computer or a console are looking for time waster. This is a much better time waster than some puzzle game, like candy crush or something, and add war to the mix and 2 years go by quick. it did for me and i really wasnt looking for anything more than something to do 5 minutes at a time between meetings. then u get hooked and here we are. also, like a lot of u, i have friends and coworkers who got hooked because their kids were playing it. the parents keep playing long after their kids quit. that's half the Honda clan.

if u build it they will come and spend lots of money on gems and get hooked and never leave.

honest opinion, you guys who have been leading the group should come to an agreement on what you want to do going forward and boot everyone else. we can come back in if we agree to where you want to go. 50 people or even 30 can't make that decision. better than the two options here, hate to see FBGS go down the path of Boog.
