So..I want to redo my base for th7, but I don't have all the buildings required in the layouts...what do you guys do in this situation? I have my aa, archer tower, cannons, and mortars just sitting out in the open since I don't have my tesla, or a few other expensive buildings just yet.

Use TH6 layouts till you have all the buildings imo. Put the new buildings (which are all going to be lv1 anyways) outside the walls as if they were just collectors or something.

I just went through this last week. I rebuilt my base swapping in collectors for the buildings I didn't have yet ( tesla, bk, de storage ). While not ideal, this does avoid drop zones inside your walls. That was after I got my new 50 walls upgraded to lvl 4. Prior to that, did what culdeus suggested, used my TH6 base and dropped the new buildings outside the walls.

What to call it when a base has a much higher TH level than the defenses in it. ( like many of the top bases in our current opponent. Town hall 11, lvl 3 wiz towers)

What do you call a "hole" in the middle of a base, normally unseen by owner, where troops can be dropped inside of walls.

I think igbombs rage spell to nowhere was a good use of psychological warfare. First off, "rage" is scary sounding, so those archers and wizards in those towers would've been like WTF. It also says "I'm so confident that I'm going to roll over your town that I'm WASTING a spell." Intimidation through the roof.

Of course it didn't totally work since he only got two stars, but I respect the strategy.

Anyone who is taking a shot at #1, who is not an easy honeypot...

Once you take down CC and heroes and blow open a hole in the wall and take out the teslas, your archers/wizards will want to go stay outside of the wall to kill stuff on the side rather than going into kill the Town Hall.

So you may want to take out a few of the buildings to each side of that southern area as you're getting the teslas and such, so you can funnel your troops in to the TH when they spawn. That or get them in there before the other stuff in there is dead, while they will still move in that way.

It's gonna be tough to get under 100k unless you can do it with no wiz and release less archers. someone with AQ might be able to pull it off.

I also think light spells are less EV for 1 than heal spells, lets you use less troops overall. L5 arch under a heal spell can take a direct hit from mortars and live.

I did learn something though. I thought I could drag his BQ and AQ across the map with the CC troops. defending BK and AQ attack the nearest person to them regardless of if they picked up a target already. This is not the same AI as CC troops have.

The spells are the killer. Over half of my spend on elixir was spells.

So what is the DE-Elexir conversion value?

Personally I value 1,000 DE > 400,000 elexir.

So if you used 333 DE, that's for sure 130k+ elexir in my book.
