Did you see they sent a TH8 in to 3 star your base? That's a win every time for our clan. :hifive:

As a TH7 you are still going to fall to dragon rushes and air attacks almost every time but that base gives you a fighting chance I think. Now I've got to change it around some for TH8.

P.S. I made it my every day base as well and it's holding up pretty well in the higher levels also.

How does this exploit matchmaking? And it's not like the max freeze guys are just killing it.

And I'm just not sure the matchmaking works like that. I think they do try to match your TH to an extent and try to balance what you have inside the TH levels. I think we would be exposed.

Much better way is to recruit low level th hardcore. We just had 3 guys push the th9 button and we will have no targets for them for weeks.

This war there is not a single base a TH8 has a prayer on. Not one. We need some layups.

From what we've seen lately it seems like they sort of do an aggregate of the th10 and th9 strength. When we see better th10 the th9 are weaker and vice-versa. This time the TH9 are really strong and the th10 are garbage.

We also now have some of our new th9 that are not following our plan and it's hurting. Not a huge big deal, but it's worth noting.

1st builds

Before upgrading a single xbow to 2.

Queen at 10

...and Zappa's my low level account that I'm testing out an "ignore defense" theory. I've had it for about a week now.

If you ever need that space for something else, no hard feelings if I get the boot. And if you ever need me to set the clan war button to green, my level 3 barbs are ready for action.

Can I get a jpg of this? Or can I flip my 1cannon over for a driveby? We have some 7's & 8's that need some fresh bases

Just come over to Honda and check out the JNox base if you want. I've seen variations of it at Crystal/Master levels. I stole it after our clan had difficulty getting 3 stars on it and it's been good. Sorry but I have no idea how to put a jpg on this forum. :unsure:

Or you can scout Icalks base in the war and see it in action....twice.

I saw death by dragon rush and it did fend off the first attack by an equal base with no stars too Jnox. I like the base! :thumbup:

If you want to see a homeade base that has crushed some hound raids check out my current trophy base right now. I'm gonna move back to my normal base soon so the other clan doesn't get a look at it prior to starting the war. I've made some improvements if you saw it this morning. It's just crazy enough it just might work.

Are you guys over in fbg1 really all that hellbent to go to war with 50? It seems like you're really reaching to just fill out those 5 slots, or however few you have.

I suggest a better way to fill is from within our clans. The problem, as I see it, is that people are becoming more and more reluctant to move/migrate between our clans. Why is that?

I started at Honda and I am comfortable there, never even considered migrating.

:shrug: I've spent lots of time in 3 (soon to be 4) fbg clans. I migrate when I feel it's necessary.

Out of courtesy we don't want to try to recruit from the other clans. The door is always open and fbgs are always preferred but we're not going to make PSAs every time we have some room.

yes, yes we are

not everyone wants to be super hardcore, I think we understand that. We simply don't have 50 super serious war minded types here.

Chasing the clan xp thing a little faster may not end up being worth it. Dealing with randoms might burn us out. It's really not that big of a difference earnings wise just to have those last 5 spots.

 
Sent a new FBGS only directive regarding upgrading of xbows

Min requirements for:

Level2 = 20 total hero levels

Level3 = 30 total hero levels

Your cooperation is appreciated.

Taking a Level 6 anti air to level 7 increases your total dps by 50 and doesn't impact matchmaking in any meaningful way.

Another great benefit of our multi-clan ecosystem. If FBGs is really going to become the super-serious war clan, to the point that how you develop matters, this kind of thing makes sense.

Honda has a great community, the PG language req, and designates serious wars and fun/training wars.

The new quattraboog, as I understand it, is serious in wars, but only 2x per week and clan members can opt out to be part of the clan, farm, and donate. Thus, maximizing the matchmaking algorithm seems like less a concern here, build your base however you like/feel best.

Is this an incorrect summary?

Sounds good to me. We just had a ton of our TH8 make the jump, like 6 or so in the last 2 weeks. It's been a long while since we had so many hitting all at once.

Quattro is warring 3x now, so there's really not a window where anyone from Quattro can move out to pick up an extra war. Previously we had a group migrating to Honda for that third war per week. No more.

Can't really speak to why there isn't Honda/FBG1 migration, but probably something similar/related to clan XP in some way.

Quattraboog wars 3x a week, but we don't require people to war at all. Some are farmer-only players who still get the perks of us leveling up the clan and contribute to a larger donation pool.

I think we offer a lot of guidance and at times will call something out if there's an obvious point of improvement I think I posted a couple pages ago about CC/AA location) but we do not issue clan-wide edicts about what the current upgrade policy is. To each is own, for the most part, just get your war attacks in and follow whatever the gameplan is. I think, if anything, we offer more "nudges" with respect to attack strategy.

Quattro wars 3x a week now, all taken seriously, with opting out permitted. You can develop as you feel best, but rushing the upper TH levels is frowned upon.
