Troops have a quality, let's call it JUMP. Hogrider.JUMP is always '1' for yes. Barbarian.JUMP, Wizard.JUMP etc. is typically '0' for no.

Pre-update, the Jump spell toggled the .JUMP attribute to '1' for all troops within the spell area.

The two effects will produce very different outcomes. The second is much more favorable for the attacker, because it increases the effective area, and makes the spell more intuitive and more predictable.

Correct, and some of what I'm interested in is which is a more efficient use of spell space eq/jump. The behavior of the troops inside it aren't as big a concern of mine as usually I'm just wanting to get access to a defending queen and a few towers but if i can catch more of the base i'll roll eq and a heavier ks.

In this blowout war I used a jump once and an eq once. The eq bought me that one extra tile needed to gouge the core open that the jump otherwise would not have.

I've been running 4 hastes pretty much every time just to get the feel of it. The rest of them say it's cheating that i do that. I think one raid I did like 7 hastes because i knew hound cc. Was fun. black ping pong balls.

The rule of 12 is something you see on the forums and something the gowiwi clan pointed out to me.

I don't think it will stop every 3 star, but it helps.

Someone hit a 12 compartment clan with ground this war and blew it up. I think to make it part of the general th9 base building rule deck with things like

• Queen in center
• Show at least 2 double bomb spots
• CC tough to lure (less important now)
• TH between queen and the most likely path to get her
• 12 or more compartments that have something in them

serious question bucky, do you ever go out of your way to build troops just for donation? i can speak for several in Honda who queue up high level troops, including DE troops, every other day so they can donate to war cc's and war offense requests before building for themselves. i have an account purely dedicated to donation troops, albeit it's only TH8, and I still can't keep up with the number of donations some of these guys churn out on a regular basis. this is the norm here, every other day, not once a blue moon when they happen to have extra resources. have you ever done this on a regular basis? those who don't in Honda are a super minority and lose favor very quickly. even if you joined Honda, if u're not one of these guys u'll be shown the door very quickly.

One major difference between FBGS and Honda is that Honda still lags in the number of players who have high level troops available for donation, so there's quite a bit of pressure and equally high level of gratitude for them. not implying the donations are not appreciated in FBGS, obviously. hearing all this makes Honda sound like an ideal place, but only if you do your part. Of course he's not asking if you have another account. He's explaining that the vast majority of people in Honda don't put themselves and their own needs before that of the clan. When lots of us are online at the same time, troop requests - even high-level ones - stay up for a few seconds. If I'm not specifically training up a war attack, I'll have a golem, a hound, witches, wizards, and loons ready to donate because they'll be needed sooner or later and they'll be max when donated. Many other of our high-level players do this as well. If we are training up a specific army, we'll still donate out of it and then remake that troop unless we are ready to roll. When a war isn't going on, people are free to make their normal raid troops and will donate when those troops are requested.

Those are the expectations regarding donations.

When we war, everyone uses clashcaller.com. Ignoring calls is not allowed - regardless of the result of the attack. TH8s (and lower) and lower-level TH9s are expected to be 3-starred in every war. If you can't do that, you need to go lower. You are expected to use army compositions that are capable of producing a 3-star. If you are unsure, you can ask for advice in the clan chat as there are always people ready to help. Ignoring their advice and failing is not allowed. Ignoring their advice and succeeding is tolerable, but those people won't be so willing to advise in the future. If you are a high-level base, you will need to coordinate with the other high-level members regarding attacks. You might be needed to snipe a high TH10. You might be needed to 3-star a low-level TH9. Knowing my skills, if I see the right base and have both heroes up, I am much more likely to 3* with my GoWiWi attack. However, according to some that is not considered a 3* strategy. If I were to try to Lavaloon, I'm probably failing and getting 0-1*. Would I still be kicked out and punished for this?

the answer is ask before each attack and discuss. no one will tell u what to do here, but everyone will have an opinion u can use to guide urself. we use gowiwi as a 3* strategy, ur statement is true for max th9s and most th10s which we don't see a lot of until recently. u highlighted the wrong sentence.

GoWiWi is a viable attack that can produce a 3 star result. This is fine and in some instances encouraged. If you show up to war with 25 wallbreakers and 150 goblins we are going to have issues.

kids in Honda follow the rules and are better than adults sometimes in doing so. i was asked to clarify that Honda is not a prison and not as strictly run as it appears on these posts. and i personally want to clarify we rarely enforce rules at all, everyone just follows them and talk things out like mature people playing a fun game like we are. only thing we do enforce is the use of clashcaller.

Honda's war search is Thursday evening around 5pm. War is Friday - Saturday. We search again Sunday evening. War is Mon- Tues. After that war we do another war search and War is Wed- Thursday.

I know the landscape has changed some with the addition of the hair dryer but it's fairly simple to take that into account and attack around it unless it is a really well laid out base. I encourage you to give it a try, if not in war than try a practice run and see how it works. It's about as automatic as a GoWiXX for 2 stars and most often 3.

Max TH9 for the most part down to base 38. Lots of 600+ star guys on their end. Solid bases for the most part.

It's a tough matchup, probably the toughest we've seen in some time. Level 7 clan lots of wins.

cashman88 in Honda: several of us have posted on chat you need to use Clashcaller during war. Twice you attacked someone else's base and you're at a level where these builds are going to waste. I tried to tell you three times last night and even asked you who you are attacking when you requested troops and i filled it. no replies to any of this. I will assume you are not reading chat. until you acknowledge you understand that caller is required the leads have been asked to sit you from war. acknowledgement here or in game chat will be appreciated. at the very least you need to ask in chat if a target is already called before you start building for it.

Fwiw I tend to agree that people likely make the jump to th10 too early. 20/20 is a great benchmark. Farming at th9 has been set to easy mode since the update prior to this one.

Mine are 25 and 21...how comfortable are you with sending me...let's see. I need 148575 gems (Just for the DE) adding in the gem time it's 177965 gems total.

My math might be slightly off, but that's $1171 to get both heroes to 40.

I'll settle for just the queen though, which is only 83290 gems, which is just $594.86.

So...how comfortable are you with sending me $600 bucks?
