Just looked at our war log and 10 out of last 20 wars in Honda were within five stars either way. And several more in the 6-10 range.

Well, that was a waste.Ha! Glad you caught that, because I didn't. That was last night around 12 hours from the morning maintenance end, I was flying through bases...My AQ is snoozing
I finally found you when you didn't have a shield and my army was almost ready. I was scouting you and doing a shield-check when I accidentally dropped a barb. So I panicked and had to rush in with less than a full deck. Not like it would have mattered, but it was still a pretty crappy attack.

If your AQ was available you probably would've got my TH. It was a good try!

PB and I watched this and that pretty much summed it up! I took serious heat 2 Januaries ago at a family gathering at a restaraunt because I was playing. A couple months later, she had an account setup secretly. She first tried to join this lil clan I had and I, the leader, said "nope" and rejected her. I had no idea it was her.=Smackdown= said:

A building consensus is developing that the announcement at clashcon is not th11.
The feeling is that it's a major overhaul of the war system.
Someone posted that there are now 50,000 clans at L5.
Jake's latest podcast sort of broaches the topic though. For many people there is zero incentive to move to th10 now. They have to do something about that.

Its starting to get stale for me. I find myself logging on less and less and caring less and less.
Im not quitting, but Im not sure how much time I have left and I have not been grinding heroes. Up to this week, I have not had to wait more than a day or two to put my AQ down after she wakes. But Im still 25,000 de short
Did a drag attack for two stars on a middling TH10 but man, is that a drain to elix. Forgot about that part. I dont even have enough elix right now to build dragons for a second attack thanks to no loot bonus in my attack this morning

They need to do something about farmers. Pieces of ####. All of them.

only thing I think they 'could' do is make a Counter that divides size of clan by war stars during a loss. if a certain threshold isn't met after so many wars then the result is 0 loot for losses

They need to do something about the fact that their game provides an ever-increasing incentive for people to quit as you go further along.
Not everyone is interested in grinding themselves into dust at TH9 and TH10, and the people that do it seem to be getting burned out pretty frequently.

Game changing news/update IS TH11 - not a revamped war matching system
TH11 with a Gobling King giving up 3 Hero's. Then decide which 2 you want to bring into war.

No need for a threshold. 0 loot for a loss or just a refund of resources spent during the war.

Jake on his podcast goes into some details on the main issues facing the game going forward. To TLDW it.
We'll see.
- Game is too easy at TH8 and below, too hard at TH10, and just right at TH9.
- Game has gotten stale at TH9 except for all but the most intense wars matched against clans of similar skill
- Game has gotten stale at TH10 except for the big modding clans doing insane stuff (BTW: Troopers lost over the weekend)
- The vast, vast majority of players perhaps closer to 98% of them cannot 3 star a TH9 as a TH9. This is a problem that is unfixable.
- The vast number of players can't 3 star a TH9 as a TH10 either. Again, unfixable.
We'll see.

I tend to agree. Pretty much all the TH10's I've had interaction with have about zero desire to go through the grind again.
Just rough grinding out 100k DE per upgrade for hero's or 100m for walls and after you upgrade offense/defense what else is there? A couple of weeks doing that is one thing. Months & months & months of it tends to sour people pretty quickly.

I'm not very good, so I moved to ten just to be able to bully attack TH nines in war (read: I will probably never have an inferno tower)

Of the most common rumors you hear mostly on twitch streams and things.
- Quick Wars - 1hr prep 1hr war which is what they are hyping to an extent in all these national contests (which are just cover your eyes bad btw)
- War leagues - You get "cups" for winning and lose cups for losing. You are then matched up only with clans that are in your "range" of cups.
- Tournaments and arranged matches - Easier to select and invite opponents.
- War revenge - Option to rematch

Yeah, hadn't thought about that part. This fast war concept is pretty commonly mentioned out there. I don't know the specifics of how they setup the world matchups. I usually watch those just to laugh at how awful the players are.

I'm right there with you. I've been grinding away at heroes as a TH9 for 3-4 months and getting burnt out. I should finish off 30/30 heroes by the end of the month and move to TH10 at which point I'm going to take a break. I'll do just enough to keep the lab upgrades going and start to reduce the amount of time I play. Hoping to regain some interest with the down time and TH10 level troops.
The bulk (or at least a large proportion) of their hard core, gem spending user base is at TH10 though and many of those are maxed except for heroes and walls. Only the truly OCD can stay engaged long enough to grind 40/40 heroes and max walls.

But that's the thing, the troops you get at TH10 don't really set the world on fire for me. Not like you get a new troop, get a decent bump for some but really just feel like you're playing out the string. Hero's are what make a difference and extra troop spaces.

I still buy the theory that they make most of their money off the people that jump in, make it to roughly th5, hit a wall, drop a 50. hit a wall, drop a 50 then quit at th8.
While pushers certainly spend the most on a per individual level, by % they are small potatoes. jmho, there isn't a ton of data out on this.
Clearly we see people that drop a #### ton on gems to get heroes maxed. They are a component too. Hard to say.

Yep, the only major offensive difference at TH10 is freeze. The rest is minor upgrades in quantity/strength of the stuff you already have at TH9.

I don't think there is any data at all out there, is there? It's all a guess.
I'd love to know how much of their revenue comes from modders. I would guess a lot, which explains why they don't want to alienate them.
