Wow, has it come to that? I have been gone awhile.

I'm not super active on my TH11 since I haven't figured out how to play it. If there are empty spots anyway I'll hop over but I wouldn't want to take up a spot if other people want in.
5 spots open. Let me know trophy level and I'll open the door. 

 
Looks pretty grim right now, the other side has modded us pretty hardcore.  Sucks to lose a big win streak like that.
Update: The clan that snapped our streak from modding did get hit with a 2 week war ban because of modding. It eventually came around on them, but still sucks that we lost because of it.

How have things gone since the update?  My feel is that they really leveled the playing field to the point where a fair play clan could get a 3-4 warden advantage that would be insurmountable in the current meta.  

I've been very loosely following the CWL.  Their success rate of 10/10 is about 15% and 11/10 is about 66%.  That just doesn't sound fun to me.

That about sums it up. We recently pulled a clan that had 13 eagles to our 5. We had no chance digging out of that hole. Percent rates seem about right.

 
Any news on a balancing update?? 
No idea, most people like the state of the game and consider it complete, I imagine they add a little bit here and there but for all intents the game is finished and won't get any major changes going forward.  Just a few levels of this or that here and there to keep moving the finish line.

I would be thinking they maybe go to a RTS style COC game in the next few years.  The overall PTW market is in decline, not sure what they will do that way to make it quite the success they had.  

 
What are the plans to bring balance back to Town Hall 10 & 11? Thoughts about the idea to bring the first 5 levels of the Grand Warden to Town Hall 10.

Balance is a continuous effort and we hope to bring another round of balancing changes with the December update. We are not considering the idea of bringing the Grand Warden to TH10 as we want to keep TH10 gameplay distinct from TH11 gameplay, and feel bringing the GW to TH10 would blur that line too much. Our balancing efforts seek to tackle this issue in other ways than through Heroes. If you remember our “Design Values” blog post a while ago, we mentioned that “Meaningful Progression” is one of our guiding values and every new Town Hall level should feel like a new chapter in Clash. The Grand Warden is a perfect example of this meaningful progression once you get to TH11. Back to TH10/TH11 balancing, here’s where our Playstyle Diversity and Depth values come into play. We realize that the War Community specifically is very vocal about their wish for more specific balance for TH10/TH11 (e.g. TH10 should be 3-starrable by other TH10, TH11 should be 3-starrable by other TH11) – but this is hard to balance with the normal multiplayer game, as the Leaderboards would lose its value if we make TH11 defenses too easy to star. We have to be careful about the changes we make to preserve Depth in TH11 multiplayer matchmaking - but in short, expect new balancing changes in the December update as usual.

So in short, they decided to screw TH10/11 balance by simply making TH11 too hard to star in the hopes of making trophy pushing more rewarding and lowering the incidence of clouds.  I hadn't thought that that would affect the clouds, but I've never spent any time pushing.  As I thought, it does seem they are happy with the game and don't see any reason to go back to pre October, and they see a $$$ reason to not drive up 11v11 3 star rates. 

They almost need a second set of rules for war then.  One that isn't impossible.  

 
I don't know if any of you have an answer, but you all seem very up on the game, so I was hoping someone had some advice. With the new training queue, does it speed up training time to have more than one of the dark and regular barracks at max? I'm basically just doing heroes and walls until I can go to th10, and am wondering if it matters anymore with the last big upgrade, or if its all the same if you have one max barracks of each type. Basically, should I just keep upgrading walls, or take the time to upgrade a few barracks?

Not sure but I think in your situation the capacity may be the main reason to so them all to max.  Training speed slows down with barracks under construction.

Maxing only matters if you want to train the max troop. For dark barracks, if you want to train bowlers, they'll come twice as fast with two max barracks instead of just one.

Koopa said it on one of his streams. He's also farming DE "in case he needs it for something in the update."

 
Actually, wouldn't be surprised to see pink spells get a boost. Doesn't impact the balance at lower levels but could help even out TH10/11.

 
I can't believe this game is still going.  I had alot of fun, and spent alot of money, but I can't get into games where they keep changing the rules. I do miss the chat with you fellas.
