Cleveland at Detroit (1 Viewer)

I think it would be very hard to call that a delay of game would it not ? It always takes time to remove all the bodies, thin out the pile and get the RB back up to his feet. Unless there was something entirely egregious beyond reasonable doubt I don't see how you could call a delay of game there.

Browns just have to wait 2 seconds, and there WILL be a running lane wide open. Lions sleepwalking through this 3rd quarter.

Just didn't understand the Lions last drive at all. Throw the ####### ball

Season in the balance here. Vikings rampant. Massive gut check coming up.

ToP is 26:52-17:16 CLE

Last drive was 4 plays 75 yards 1:31

Browns have gone 10-80 TD and 8-85 TD the last two drives

Defense has to get a stop here

Shocking.  Detroit just likes to take the first three quarters to convince everyone they really can't run the ball.  Detroit is only effective running as a change of pace.
I mean honestly, the drives when we were ahead and at 17-17 were just so bereft of any life or adventure. Constant running for losses or 1-3 yards gain at best. Never taking an intermediate to long pass before being in a 3rd and long situation. All the time it feels like.

Staffords doing it now like we know he can, I just don't see why he's not allowed to do more of this before it's deep into 2nd half and we're in trouble

Agnew has been great this year. Much more fun having an electrically quick player like him on the team, flag or no flag

Three sacks on Kessler.  Just does not have pocket awareness.

Big play Slay! That'll wrap it up.

Browns deserve better than 0-9. Not sure if Lions deserve 5-4, but with MIN & GB wins, every win is a big one.

We stay alive. Shame the Skins couldn't help us out but all we can do is keep winning games.

Slay, Tate, Stafford, Zettel all good today

Golladay and Ebron showed up with big plays when required.

Run game remains variable but it was nice to see Abdullah rip off some bigger runs in the 1st half.

The Lions improved to 10-3 in November games since Jim Caldwell's arrival. That's the best record in the NFL, believe it or not.

Theo had a couple chunk runs as well

Zettel is having a great year, Lawson got benched early then made the great strip-recovery-TD, Cornelius Washington had his first two sacks - gotta have unsung guys stepping up

Speaking of which, T Corey Robinson started at G and Mahalik splits series with Decker; considering it was a patchwork crew with Lang out, they did a nice job opening up holes (4 sacks is unacceptable but I think a couple of those were no gain or minus one, only lost 8 yards total on sacks)

Ebron was named the offensive team captain before this game

Really excited to see how Golladay fits in - Marvin and TJ Jones were almost invisible today

Ugly AF but we'll take 'em any way we can get 'em

Vikings have a tough schedule and will lose a few more.  Lions have to worry about winning games, particularly the Viking game and they will be in good shape.  I am not too excited about the sacks since they mostly came against the backup QB who held the ball too long and did not move around well in the pocket. Kizer would not have been sacked.  But Stafford continues to throw well and the WR core looked good.  Protection was better than usual.

Mahalik has been a  bit of a revelation in the last couple of weeks. With Decker now back its good to know we have somene ready to step in if needed. Looking forward to seeing a fully fit line next week perhaps.

Have given up on Ansah being fully healthy but we have a good spine on the D - Robinson/rotations at DT - Davis - Quinn - Slay. Whitehead is better having been moved over, Lawson/Diggs helping at CB. Just need to keep generating some pass rush anyway anyhow.

With our O line getting healthy maybe our run game improves a little, and the better protection can continue
