Cleveland RB question (1 Viewer)

Jamal's lingering foot injury worries me and I have a feeling (not substantiated) that he won't be carrying the full load (if at all) come fantasy playoff time. Cleveland has a sweet rushing matchup during the playoffs which I would like to take advantage of. If Jamal can't go, whom is the better start, Wright or Harrison? Right now the break down between their carries is pretty split, but do you envision one back pulling ahead of the other?

I don't think any homer can truly answer that this week. I don't think Jamal's foot injury will be an issue at play-off time because the Browns are more than happy to sit him for Wright if he's not healthy. I do think that Harrison has a chance of stealing some carries as does Wright. I also heard that lead blocker Vickers may be out a couple of weeks with post concussion syndrome which may hurt Lewis more than anything.

What you've seen is what you'll get. JL if he can go. Wright next. Harrison #3.

Harrison doesn't get more carries IMO because he's smallish & doesn't block as well as they other guys.

Jason Wright: 5-10 214Jerome Harrison: 5-9 210I have heard that he doesn't block as well, but he's about the same size as Wright. He seems to be getting better.

RB Lewis does it all at practice

Jamal Lewis, RB CLE

News: Browns RB Jamal Lewis (foot) went through a full practice Wednesday as the team prepares for Week 9 vs. Seattle. Lewis was able to play Week 8 against the Rams after sitting out Week 6 and using the bye Week 7 to rest up. He ran for 61 yards and zero touchdowns against the Rams.

Analysis: Lewis didn't take all the carries against the Rams, but has a chance to be at 100 percent against the Seahawks. He is expected to play and should be considered a No. 2 Fantasy RB.

Jamal will get the load if healthy.

I've seen the last 2 Browns games (vs. Miami and @ STL), Harrison really impresses me running the ball. Great change of pace back.

Despite his return to a complete practice Wednesday, Jamal Lewis (foot) could be limited in games for the next "several weeks."

This could be due to a combo of Lewis' foot injury and the productivity of Jerome Harrison, who has gotten the ball 14 times in the last two weeks and averaged 7.4 yards-per-touch. It makes Lewis a slightly riskier fantasy play. The Browns face the Seahawks, Steelers, and Ravens the next three weeks.

Your question is better phrased (I believe), "If Jamal Lewis is not available for the Browns during weeks 13-16, who will carry the load?"

I think the answer is Wright. A lot can happen between now and then though, obviously.

I can agree with that.

Same here. I'd say it breaks down something like this.If Lewis is healthy:Lewis: 85 %Wright / Harrison split the other 15% If Lewis isn't healthy:Wright: 60%Harrison: 40%
