CMC for JJ? (1 Viewer)

I have a lot of RBs but need help at WR. 0.5 PPR, currently 8-2, standard roster:
  • Love
  • CMC, Breece, Hubbard, Tracy, Pacheco
  • McLaurin, Cooper, Olave
  • Bowers
I'll be dropping Rodgers, Gabe Davis and Gesicki tonight and targeting WR depth (Bye week/injuries hit hard last week but still somehow won).

The Justin Jefferson owner sent me an offer of his JJ for my CMC + Cooper. Firstly, what are your thoughts about CMC for JJ as a base of the deal? Is what he offered fair? I think it's not bad given the injury risk with CMC, but is Cooper too much of an add? Should I counter and try to land one of his Jennings/McConkey/Adams?

I feel like CMC for JJ straight up is fair. You could argue either side of this and you might be right. The problem is losing Cooper essentially leaves you with two receivers. Who knows if or when Olave is coming back, but it won't be until Week 15 at the earliest. If JJ or McClaurin miss a game you are going to be in trouble. At the very least McClaurin is on bye week 14.

I guess for me it depends on who you can get as Wide Receiver depth.

I think it's fair. Don't count on Olave coming back at all though. I have Cooper on one team, and don't feel good about him. Being traded to Buffalo was supposed to be great for him, but except for one game it's been nothing.

CMC for JJ straight up seems reasonable though. As mentioned, you get really shallow at WR.

Yes, but if you don’t need them that’s the only way to get a player like Chase this year. They might still say no unless they really need RBs.
