Cocaine is a hell of a drug (1 Viewer)

Idk, I find it a euphoric feeling. I really only like it when I'm wasted. I still feel drunk, but also sober. Hard to explain if you've never done it.

Coke, booze, and Viagra is def the best combination of substances on Earth.
Coke, Molly, and Viagra is pretty close.

Maiden voyage was at 13..... And it honestly scared the bejesus out of me. Never touched it again. Not sure how, because from age 18 on, it's been a phone call away and in my sight probably once a week for the majority of that time.

Why? Because my best friend would qualify as an addict.

He's been at it since college and now in his mid 40s. Did a rehab stint at 20 that proved unsuccessful. During the rest of his 20s there were some really bad stretches where I worried for his life. He would disappear for weeks at a time, not show up to things he committed to, the usual stuff that comes with it. Those stretches usually coincided with some coke whore latching on to him and holding on for dear life.

Over the last decade he's matured into a functioning addict. Comes from money, only child, which has certainly helped him survive his lifestyle, and is now as successful in his career as anyone else I consider my friend. He's been much better about the company he keeps and who he dates

So we've concluded that it's the whores that are the problem, not the blow.

Shady - as for your BIL...

You're in a damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario here. You're catching #### if you don't tell your wife right away... Which you already haven't done, so go this route

I try to keep this motto

The person with a problem is the person that continues to do such things when they can't afford to. 'Affording to' comes in many different forms, physically, financially, emotionally.

Once any of those things start to be impacted, then it's time to raise the alarm.

Keep doing lines every 25-45 minutes until you're either out or force yourself to stop.
That definitely sounds like something that is not that addictive.
Addiction is as much about the person as the addictive thing. I used to easily party through a quarter ounce or more a weekend. An 8 ball was the warmup. When I decided this is stupid I stopped and haven't touched it in 20 years. Yes cocaine can be addictive but it isn't always so.

I'm sure you are right. I just found it a little funny.

I'm not judging anybody who can use it (or any other drug) recreationally without it ####### their #### up.

Maybe 8-balls could be what you do with the 10 million since everybody seems to think you need something to do.

Nope Coke is boring to me now.

This is one of the smartest of comments that I've seen here.

Once survivalism and physical or emotional independence becomes compromised, it's time to question a behavior.

Weird that you always have a problem with me. PM me for any silly dissent from my postings so that your issue need not be embarrassingly public anymore. I'm sure to respond, and will gladly meet you at any time, and anywhere.

eta* I should qualify that. I'll meet you nowhere nor ever give you my address, you #######.

You're that revolting.

I think we're getting a little off-topic here gentlemen.

Although it does kinda look like someone woke up and did a line or two.

Know a bunch of people here in NYC that do it casually and 1 person who probably needs some help. Weekend night out, surprising if someone doesn't pull some out or make the call. All employed, reasonably successful and not broke.

My wife had a really bad habit when we were in college. Working in the restaurant business, it's either coke or pills for the majority of the servers/bartenders. We had a sit down and I told her I was done with it, couldn't be with her any more unless she gave it up. That was 8 years ago. I asked her about it the other day and she said she'd absolutely do another line if it was in front of her, and that that thought scared her.

I guess it depends on the individual. I'd absolutely want to know if my little brother was doing it.

Nothing worse than bad coke... Took a bunch of rails last night on top of a ton of booze. I was fast asleep an hour and a half after my last line.

Why is it that the metric system seems to have made it's greatest in roads in America the areas of soda and drugs?

Cocaine is a character test.

Definitely some truth to this, though maybe not necessarily in the ways you think.

Also, really good, clean coke can usually be slept on not long after taking it if you want. It's the garbage cut with speedy stuff that is really hard to sleep on.

I did a lot of drugs in the 80s and early 90s. Fortunately, I was always into risky behavior but never had an addictive personality.

I miss some of the drugs but miss coke the most. Once you got good at managing it for a night out, those nights turned into madness.

If I had the chance to do it over again, I wouldn't change a thing except cut down on the drinking.
