Just got back from seeing him at Plaza Live. Best concert I can recall. He's a complete performer. It was just him. He still can hit every note, plays the guitar beautifully and had hilarious dialogue and stories between songs. My wife was not familiar with his newer stuff (post-Men at Work) and he brought her (and a few people) to tears with my personal favorite "Waiting for my Real Life to begin."

The opener was this looker named Heather Maloney and she was pretty damn impressive in her own right. She also played acoustically. In fact, she closed with this song and it was just the audience providing the stomp and clap and she was just vocals.

Seen him twice. One with a band and one solo, both were great.

He is a very underrated songwriter.

I saw Colin Hay a few years ago at a local Music Festival. He performed Men at Work songs and some of his solo work on the main stage.

The highlight for me was seeing Hay, Billy Bragg and a few others at a sidestage jam session where they played together on each other's songs and swapped stories. I bought Hay a beer in the beer tent later that night.
