USC WR Makai Lemon is my kind of prospect.

Explosiveness, elusiveness, contested-catch ability, toughness.

What does Makai Lemon lack?

He can separate at a high level, stretch seams, make tough catches, and he’s an electric RAC threat with size-defying strength through contact.

Aside from size, hard to poke holes in his game. Big-time player.

Can the prospect make big plays in big moments of a game?

Here are two clutch moments on the final drive against Illinois.

Really like Lemon. Not a Pickens-like swan. More an Amon-Ra/Ladd style option who might need an ideal fit to elicit the elite No. 1 production potential.

At worst, a fantastic secondary option. Mitts, tracking, & physical approach to ball are so strong.

Sees the game well.

I think Waldman nails it here. I'd love to see him land somewhere like Pittsburgh, Carolina, Seattle or New England. He can fill a high end second option role day 1.

Makai Lemon's W12 tape is incredible, even by his standards. Clinic on
- attacking the DB's blindspot
- hand usage at the LOS/break point to play through contact as a smaller WR
- tracking and adjusting to deep/contested targets

The Amon-Ra St. Brown / Emeka Egbuka / Ladd McConkey comps are intriguing. I’m looking forward to the game against Oregon this weekend.
