Collie not practicing - what's up? (1 Viewer)

Austin Collie (foot) was held out of practice for the second straight day Thursday.

It's not a great sign that Reggie Wayne returned to a full practice, leaving Collie on the sidelines. Beat writer Phil Wilson is "starting to think" that Collie will sit out this week after seeing him "hobbling around with a boot on his foot." The Colts are perhaps the league's most conservative team on practice participation, though, so be sure to check back Friday afternoon for the official injury report. Collie could be headed for game-time decision status.

Isn't a boot sometimes used as a precautionary measure?

And the "Hobbling" part?

As a Colts homer and multiple-league Collie owner in FF, I'm more than a little concerned.

In fact, since I'll be going to the game Sunday, I just took Collie out of all my starting lineups because I won't be near a computer to remove him on short notice before the game.

I could see where having a big immobilizing boot on your foot could make you hobble a bit.

has a hell problem and was not involved much last week because of it i think..not sure id sit him esp if he practices tomorrow..this is a huge game for Indy

Wow this doesn't sound good. If he sits out all week and Friday he's more than likely to not play on Sunday imo. Sucks.
