Collie vs. Sims Walker (1 Viewer)

Philly has a couple of pretty good corners and can get some push up front with the pass rush. That's going to cause problems for a young QB with not-quite elite WR's. And despite his offseason initiative, it was Bradford's first game running this offense against a defense that wasn't staying vanilla. Give them some time.

Besides, MSW may get some looks in the slot. I'm a bit surprised by that, but that's the skuttlebut.

The Colts, on the other hand... What has Kerry Collins not seen by this point in his career? I'm worried about Collie unless they bring in someone else in to QB. But I can see Collie getting some reps on the outside. If you think he's a better WR than Garcon, then you should also think he can push Garcon to the bench if the Colts are abandoning 3WR sets. Just because the Colts liked the mismatch Collie gave them in the slot does not mean they won't play him on the edges. It's still a situation in flux as well.

Or we could pray that Indy trades Collie to the Rams. :excited:

MSW was covered by Asomugha on Sunday was he not? Easy mulligan there.
Gibson was lining up against Asomugha for most of the day IIRC. Certainly for a decent amount of time (And Scrabble struggled mroe than I was expecting, though new scheme etc etc). Either way, Samuel was on the other side and the Philly Dline was all over Bradford, so hardly a surprise that the passing O struggled all day. When Jackson left the game, they had no chance.

Kind of sad that we are even discussing this. Everything is going downhill for Collie while all the variables are looking up for MSW. I think MSW is the biggest winner in the Amendola injury wake.
