So I log on to my league today and what do I see *1 day* before the trade deadline, a trade involving LT.

Team A is 4-5 (lost 4 in a row), is in 5th place (by points, 3-way tie for 5th). His team is probably worse than his record as he starts Engram, Benson, and Dunn pretty much weekly.

Team B is 7-2, in 2nd place (Myself and 1 other also 7-2)

Team A trades LT and DeAngelo -for- Lendale and TJones.

Now maybe I'm just pissed that my biggest competitor just got LT, but it still feels like Team A has realized he has no shot to win with 4 teams clearly better than his and is throwing in the towel, not to mention trading LT to one of his better friends in the league. Also, Team B traded Dunn to Team A for Brian Leonard shortly after, only to be followed by dropping Leonard to pick up Santana Moss.

We moved the deadline up this year because of ridiculous trades last year, and though I think it might be hard to have a 100% argument something bogus is going on here, i think it is.

PS: I offered LT owner AD+Driver for LT about 4-5 weeks back and he turned it down. That seems a little more fair than this one

In my main league, this would be a net gain for Team A.The only real problem here is the name recognition of LT.

This is a team 10 league. I think DeAngelo and Selvin Young are the only backups currently rostered since Leonard was already dropped for the guy. Even Dunn was on the WW until a couple days ago.This trade is basically LT for Lendale, and while Lendale is coming on, that certainly is not a fair tradeYou gotta consider the records and the fact this comes 1 day before the deadline as well.

Off topic, but what's wrong with starting Engram on a weekly basis? I think he's been pretty solid.
