Colston In Leagues Where he's listed as WR/TE (1 Viewer)

Ok, I picked up Colston and have a guy #####ing about the fact that he's listed as a WR/TE, saying that it is illegal to play him in the TE slot. He thinks that it should be illegal, because he's not really a TE and doesn't line up there. What are your thoughts on this issue. Just got into a bit of an argument over this and wanted an objective opinion.

cite cooley last year. listed as WR/TE/RB.if they are listed under any of the above classifications, the default software will allow you to play them in that slot, just like a real team owner could play a player capable of playing all of those positions in whatever slot he wanted.your friends are ######ed.

he was a TE in college . and was originally going to play TE . at the NFL draft he was annoujnced as a TE . just like M.Robinson wasannounced as a RB ..

he is not a TE and is listed on the SAINTS - web site as a WR

so it should be a WR no question

if not its BUSH and a loop hole

What site do you play your league with? It should be up to the site to indentify players postions. I think the guy is a ###### for making a big deal about it. Should you be penalized for an educated pickup. Than is one of Colstons benefits that he can be played at either position!CCP

mostly correct except he was a WR in college. In my league, I changed him to WR before MFL changed him site wide. In a Yahoo league I'm in, he's listed as both. And I mentioned it to the commish and he said if that's how they have it, that's how it'll be. Ok for me. I'll play him at TE some.

He's never been a TE. Do some research, at Hofstra he was a WR. At Susquehanna HS in PA he was a WR and DE. He was projected as a TE in the NFL draft by scouts because he's so big and a bit slow for a WR. He was clocked at 4.51.

If you play in a league, you abide by the rules. If you play on yahoo, and they list him as a TE/WR, well, then, that's that. If he doesn't like it, tell him to petition the league to switch sites. That's what I'd do if I was him. It is crap that you can use him as a TE, but it's within the rules.

I have him in a league where the rule is that you have to be able to document that he's listed as a TE somewhere. So according to Yahoo, he's a WR/TE so I have him as a backup. Taking advantage of your league structure is all part of it, just like using Troy Glaus as a SS or Jonathan Papelbon as a SP in fantasy baseball. If it's not clearly stated within the league rules that you CAN'T do this, I see no issue with it.

I think people are just upset because they didn't think of it first.
