I'm not even sure if that's a lock if Cutler plays but LJ is out. For that matter Ramsey isn't much worse than the either of the QB's in KC. Do we even know when LJ will be back at full strength? I'd say SD would have to be heavy favorites to win this division until LJ is back.If the Chargers fall to 4-5, they'll be a game behind the Chiefs (assuming KC beats DEN this week). The SD-KC game in week 13 will be huge for AFC West purposes. (Maybe not so huge for general NFL purposes.)
If Indy loses this game, they have exactly a zero chance of catching the Pats for home field throughout the playoffs, and they know it. Their season has a new sense of urgency and I just can't see Rivers, who looked just brutal, outperforming the Colts and Manning.Whether the Bolts are pissed is irrelevant...besides, pissed teams are 3-15 over the past two years. The Colts are a really beat up team right now. And the Chargers are pissed. Should make for a really good game. Traveling cross country is never easy. But especially after the game Indy just played. I like the Chargers.
SD was "pissed" when they played NE earlier in the year too. If that is any indication of how a "pissed" SD team plays, I'll take Indy by 17.The Colts are a really beat up team right now. Do you think the 2005 Chargers that missed the playoffs would beat the undefeated 2005 Colts in Indianapolis?I'm really surprised that Indy is only 3 point favorites, but then I was dead wrong about the NE-IND game.I don't think the 2006 chargers would beat the 2007 Colts at San Diego, let alone the 2007 Chargers.
If Drew Brees is playing, there's a chance. Is Drew playing for the Chargers this weekend?Do you think the 2005 Chargers that missed the playoffs would beat the undefeated 2005 Colts in Indianapolis?I'm really surprised that Indy is only 3 point favorites, but then I was dead wrong about the NE-IND game.I don't think the 2006 chargers would beat the 2007 Colts at San Diego, let alone the 2007 Chargers.

Do you recall the circumstances of that game? when 2 teams are both pissed, give me the team MORE pissed, that doesnt havent to travel cross country every time.SD was "pissed" when they played NE earlier in the year too. Hummm, pissed^2 theory. Norv Turner is the head coach now, no way they have "a great gameplan"SD will only win if they run a great gameplan, execute it, and the Colts turn it over two or three times.
Pitts to Denver isn't exactly "cross country". Pitts almost pulled that game out. Plus Jax came out to Denver a few weeks earlier and beat them handily.timschochet said:As a Steeler fan, I'm weary of travelling cross country. The Broncos looked terrible against the Bolts before finding a way to beat the Steelers. I think SD is a pretty good team, and they will rebound this week. I still gotta go with Indy, but I predict a VERY close battle...
Two "pissed" teams in a "pissed off the most" game usually lead to a pretty,um,smelly game.Colts favored by "only" three just doesn't sound or look right, when I see a game like that I take the points. Simliar situation with The Giants and Cowboys,'Boys favored by just 1? I'll take The G-Men and Bolts in a parlay. This "system" has been discussed on ESPN radio,it's hitting at about 70% for the season. Just thought I'd throw that out there.jurb26 said:Hummm, pissed^2 theory. self-serving bump. jinx?Guesses at the opening line on this game? Indy by 9.5?Ever the contrarian, I like the Boltz straightup in this game, despite the ADP show this week.
