Comic Books/Graphic Novels (1 Viewer)

NewlyRetired said:
I just started reading Avengers vs XMen and I have enjoyed it so far.

I have recently purchased a new computer (Surface 3 which acts in part as a tablet and runs Windows).

Can anyone recommend a good Comic Reader for Windows? I really miss my ComicZeal from my Ipad.

I have tried a couple of readers from the Windows store but neither were very good.
the old original version of CDisplay is awesome

AVX starts great and ends with a whimper.. much like all marvel events... they build it up... build it up more... there is going to be lasting change... you're not going to believe what happens next!

Then at the end they have to revert back to the status quo so the individual books can keep being written as they were.

Civil war is a good story... the idea is good... but what happens in that book should've left the characters so messed up that things were never the same between them again.. but they shake hands soon thereafter... just like when a character dies and is resurrected a year later.

Updating my list.

Adding:

40 more issues on The Walking Dead. Quality remains very high

9 more issues on Kabuki (these 9 issues took 4 times as long to read as the 40 Walking Dead issues, so difficult!)

12 issue complete run on Avengers vs X-Men (I enjoyed it, but I am not a big super hero reader)

3 full graphic novels on Avatar The Last Air Bender(if you enjoyed the show, these books were near perfect)

The star wars stuff marvel is pumping out since they regained licensure is all top notch.

Secret wars may kill the superhero genre for me, but I'm all in on their star wars stuff, the Lando series is particularly great

I was not sure what to read next and then I noticed that it was the 20th anniversary of Preacher so I am going to give that a second read through.

Anyone reading the Watchmen Doomsday Clock? I'm loving it. Never read a current book though. Sucks to wait so long between issues.
