**Commanders at Rams** (-6.5, 50.5) 4:00 (1 Viewer)

Commies visit The Rammies.
I know Vegas is smarter than me bur I don't think the spread is big enough.
IF I were a betting man Id put a large wad on...

Team From Los Angeles- 37
Team From Washington- 20

St juste and fuller have gotten really bad at coverage this year. They look lost on D. Most teams including commanders have nickel as a base package. Those 2 are clueless how to play that.

Commanders fans doing more interesting things today … laundry, eating ritz crackers, sponge bob rerun binge. Anything to avoid this team.

Howell getting worse as the season winds down.
I think he looks tired. 16 games is a long season when you played 12 in college and HS. Even more so when your team sux.
I also think his height is an issue. To me he isn’t seeing some open receivers. Obviously we’ve got a Birds Eye view and it’s easy for us to see. Much harder for a qb.

It’s something that can be overcome by being super smart and knowing the plays and what the D is gonna do. But the D is shifting and confuses him. Like single high switching to cover two. Etc. makes him hold the ball. I’m not sure he sees it at all.

He’s still got a chance in the NFL but will need a far better OL.

Saw Brissett tossed a couple of tuddies...didn't watch the game but does this somewhat resurrect Terry?
I assume Howell is still the starter.
He is still the starter going forward according to Rivera.

Which is the best thing for the team. No need to try to have Brissett come in and maybe win games Howell would lose and screw up draft position and Howell's confidence.

Howell still the starter. Jacoby brisett is clearly the better built and more experienced guy. But commanders have no reason to start him at this point.

I think all this did is make it reasonable for the next GM and coach to move on from Howell if they are so inclined. And maybe now a team in need will sign brissett to a starter role next year because he is a solid. Since his contract is up. All the WRs got a pep in their step when brissett came in.
