I commish a league where we got a new owner and he's a friend of another owner in the league. Both teams are unpaid one week before the draft and one owner is paying for both teams. I haven't accused them of one person having two teams and neither team has even traded with the other, but I simply don't like the idea of one owner paying for another. I requested in the future that each owner pays his own league fee. The one owner who's paying for both said the other owner is a cash only kind of guy. I said the other guy needs to get a money order in the future. I'm allowing it this year, but not in the future. This is just the way I choose to do business and feel I owe it to the league as commish. I hate being the commish sometimes. What are your thoughts on this?
UPDATED: I see most of you with the exception of one or two don't see a problem with this. Thanks for all the response. I guess I don't see it as something I like, but maybe that's just me. I like to see each team represented by an actual person as much as possible. Whether that's a differing checking account, signature, or other data that separates the owners. I also like having individual records of payments. It's a personal preference I guess.
