A player has a strong team and doesn't want to drop someone in order to fill a bye.  He has worked out a deal to essentially rent space on someone else's roster for a week so that he doesn't have to drop anyone. 

next week they will return the players to each other. 

Do you think this should be allowed?

This should not be allowed.  This is a form of collusion in my opinion.  We have a rule that you cannot trade players back to a team for a minimum of 4 weeks. This usually has quashed this type of deal.

This is foul and shouldn't be allowed. Would never stand for this in our league.

Never had anyone try this is any league I've been in, but if they did we would have to implement something similar to what Gally said.

no way that this should be allowed.   The owner goes into the week with a bye player or gets one off the waiver line.  If he trades, there should be no trade back of the same players.
